You may have noted that there seems to be a stir in the world's collective consciousness of something more entirely different than anything we have seen before. It took us awhile, but it finally dawned on us....
Religions and Faiths of the World take heed! You now have a new competitor in the form of a budding religion, and it would seem that this new Faith is bringing some serious moxy to the table. This new World Order is making a grand effort at being officially sanctioned and backed by The United Nations, Sovereign Governments, Environmentalists and even State-Supported-Scientists, as well as most Left-Leaning-Ideologues. I suppose we can all call this Order the "Anthropomorphic Global Warming Sect" until such time as the High Priests can decide on an official name (we will keep you posted).
Why do we refer to this as a new religion? Well, the answer might be a bit more obvious than you might think. A religion is defined in the Merrium-Webster dictionary as follows:
re-li-gion
1 a: The state of a religious < a nun in her 20th year of religion > b (1) The service or worship of God or the supernatural (2) commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
2 : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs or practices
3 : archaic: scrupulous conformity: Conscientiousness
4 : a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
Defining the Faith
When we look at definition 1 a: We see what could be said to be a more traditional set of beliefs that point to a service or worship of God. Many hardcore environmentalists view the earth and our environment as if it were a God. This treatment was, in our ancient past, called Pantheism, or worship of nature, and there are still Pantheists of one form or another still active in modern day. As we move further down into the expanded definitions we begin to see, even more, how The AGW's (Anthropomorphic Global Warmers) start matching up even better in this regard.
When we look at the second definition we begin to see how our "faithful" AGW's are beginning to conform to certain religious principles. You see, the Warmers seem to believe quite ardently in their contention of man-made global warming in the form of their attitudes, i.e. constantly studying the precepts of their religion--that being rising temperatures as induced by Man around the globe, their ongoing practices which primarily involve trying to coerce others into adhering to their beliefs while laying down dogma designed to both further their own aims and to isolate and belittle those whom do not believe in their faith.
Also, like many more ancient religions, this new religion requires all of us to participate in the form of alms or tithes to be paid directly to the treasurer, which would be your National Government as it currently stands. Interestingly, from all the evidence that we have been able to see, the tithe would seem to approach the same tithe as my protestant church upbringing and beyond--that being 10% after all is said and done and after our forced tithes have been fully realized with regard to both individual and industrial economic impact.
Under 3: the archaic seems to match just as precisely as any other faith or religion you might wish to name in the form of their scrupulous conformity and the uneasing stream of conscientiousness that these AGW believers exude in their undaunted beliefs, in addition to their reverential treatment of said religion's titular heads. Finally, under 4: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith. Well, for Heavens sake! Can anyone deny that the Warmers do not have extreme and unshakable faith in their new cause? This despite all evidence to the contrary with regard to these vapid folk being aware of the problems within their religious studies which--at this writing-- seems to be in some artifactual trouble--their already having "defrocked" a number of high priests for showing heretical weakness in the form of being unable to hide the "actual" facts gathered and hidden but then unveiled by none other than a heretic (i.e. leaker or hacker) who exposed their illegitimate facts to the world.
Restraint, Faith, and Doom
Our analysis would be incomplete if we did not reveal the entymology of the actual word "religion" which is derived from the latin word "religare" which means "to restrain or tie back." Now can anyone not see that the entire preface of these Warmers is to restrain or tie back the world in the form of Cap and Trade taxes, carbon offsets and the likes of control that we have never seen before?
However, our observation should also look at the word, which seems to be constantly surfacing thruout our inital explanation. The word faith means among several definitions the following: "Faith" b (1): firm belief in something of which there is no proof; (2) complete trust. Now, can anyone doubt that the entire planet is being asked to believe in global warming based upon unproven evidence? The President and a large sector of world leaders seem to believe in warming despite an equal (if not more) amount of Scientists and Meteorologists from all over the world standing up and declaring that "This is not true Science." The President, it should be noted, seems easily drawn to faiths of dubious origin when one looks at the teachings of the Reverend Wright whom Obama formerly referred to as a "Mentor."
The piece de resistance, in our contention here at Conservative Refocus, seems to finally lock all of the pieces of the puzzle together. What religion would be complete without DOOM? Yes, indeed and we have it here. As with most accepted religions, the consequences of sin will be meted out by the deity and Holy Smoke! Does this one ever have doom written all over it. We have been horrified with tales of drowning by rising seas, parched ground that will not even grow grass, strarvation scenarios, plagues and even the hysteria inducing fact that only 10% will survive if the precepts of this religion follow through to their completion in the form of a finally realized FOUR degrees celsious sustained increase in temparature. Where is that darned comet tale (replete with spaceship) when you need it?
First Council of Copenhagen (Why not Nicea)?
So even the Apocyalpse is included within this religion. The Bible of this Religion is not yet available to date as it has not been properly assimiliated into the final codex which will, rather predictably, be a stream of digital equations which represent both the origins of the past and will prophesy for the future unless, of course, Man makes an extreme sacrifice to this new God in the form of certain luxuries and perhaps a healthy dose of depravation just to make it all nice and tidy. But we are certain that this inital world summit at Copenhagen will be considered in the same vein of importance as the Council of Nicea is now with regard to the origins of their Holy Book--as opposed to OURS.
The one incongruous point in all of this is that it seems quite out of character for the Democrats and the Scientists to be zealously mixing their Global Warming Religion with matters of the State. As a matter of fact, this is unconstitutional as the government can "make no laws as it respects religion." Hmm...this brings up all sorts of interesting quandaries as we try to pull these ideas out into the light. If this were not so laughably ridiculous it "might" be more alarming. But ridiculous is so "de rigueur" these days.
The one truth that we should all remember within our human existence is that within each generation we seem to stumble upon revelations to our collective knowledge that often prove how pitifully ignorant we were within the previous generation.
The knowledge and beliefs previously held by Man that seemed beyond reproof at the time of their essence often become laughable after later historical discernment.

“People who see their lives as irremediably spoiled cannot find a worth-while purpose in self-advancement...Their innermost craving is for a new life – a rebirth – or failing this, a chance to acquire new elements of pride, confidence, hope, a sense of purpose and worth by an identification with a holy cause. An active mass movement offers them opportunities for both...” [ Is this Mr. Gore?]
“ It is true that in the early adherents of a mass movement there are also adventurers who join in the hope that that the movement will give a spin to their wheel of fortune and whirl them to fame and power.”

I had to pick myself up off the floor I laughed so hard.
Great Job!
