Conservative Refocus
While the economic picture for America continues to drift from "kind of terrible" to "sort of horrible," we can begin to now see a President who has managed to push through much of his obviously latent agenda at all odds. It's both a President and his Legislature that now stand amongst the wreckage of their project and wonder why they can't seem to get anything to go their way despite a wealth of counter-intuitive evidence available. At some point one begins to wonder if, indeed, a consistent spate of good news is even achievable for the Citizenry of the US--or--have the Socialist Democrats, with coils loosely affixed to the tiller of this great country, elected to steer the entire nation into a slow, feckless oval of meaningless perpetuity.
In fact, the President himself is beginning to remind us of one who has lost his way but, fearful of losing the confidence of his vast companionry, keeps insisting that He knows exactly where He is and just where He is going even while stumbling and tripping over every bit of twigery and slight protuberance along the way with the appropriate curses being spouted here and there.
Even while those in the Media continue to hail the "Messianic Marginalizer" as being "The One," most of America and soon now the world, begins to become clued to the fact that the President's "somewhat" respectable IQ of 131 might need to be a bit higher in order to actually accomplish the given task at hand, or maybe a few points lower in order to goad the Man into working a bit more strenuously. Either way, the public's uneasiness--which was initially rooted in the strains of a faltering economy--has now spread like a previously dormant fungus into the office of the Presidency and for good reason. The President's continued exasperated searching about for answers to fetch out of his "Liberal Statist Handbag" yields nothing more than crumpled gum wrappers, strings of lint, and the occasional tarnished coinage among a large number of other comparatively useless items.

The Unused Tools of Conservatism
Many if not most whom are "actually" qualified to weigh in, have repeatedly warned, furiously gesticulated, even deafeningly screamed that the correct items to repair the nation's problems can only be found in the rusted "red toolbox" that sits forlornly in the White House basement, covered in dust and spiderwebs and neglectfully forgotten since a former leader left it there nearly six years ago. The current President's unwillingness to roll up his sleeves and heft these powerful tools during a time of great economic duress speaks to the state of the country as it stands today, along with the extreme ideology of "The One" who refuses to utilize such tools. The reason for this is simply because it would require the President to reach far outside of himself and take up the tools that belong to the hated Conservatives, the sworn enemies of the Progressive Statists.
This particular fix would be nothing fancy, mind you, just pull out the economy-leveraging tool that has worked every time it's tried, the "Duct Tape" that can fix almost anything (at least for a time) in the form of not allowing any tax increases in the near future and finally a break for businesses, which would be the "confidence inspiring" equivalent of an income boost next year, or in other words, freeze all revenue levels where they currently stand. This would be the stupendous news that businesses and individuals definitely now need in order to, again, spark the fires of economic growth despite the legislative burdens already placed upon them these past 18 months.
Obama, however, has never subscribed to an ideology of proven successes, but rather seems to dwell in the realm of the theoretical, which takes us back to our earlier allusion of a man who seems satisfied in wondering around lost and confused in a wilderness of educated ignorance, outwardly cocksure about his approximate whereabouts until the very bewildering end, jealously clinging to an already failed ideology. This could be seen as the President's proselytizing for "ever more" Central Goverment spending (to the other world Leaders), which fell on deaf ears during a recent economic summit. All of this--even while his own country lay economically beaten and nearly spent from "Excessive Government Borrowing Disorder" among various other ongoing economic dysfunction.
The Nattering Nabobs of Negativity

Should a Congressional investigation be commissioned in order to question those individuals closest to the President as to whether or not he might be the type who actually stops and asks directions when having lost his way? Or is he one of those who drives aimlessly around, stubbornly refusing to stop and inquire of the proper direction from someone who is more intimately familiar with the territory? The signs are, in fact, all there if one is but willing to see. In a fitting counterpoint, we also have a bewildered and seemingly clueless Vice-President who "now" insists that the eight million jobs that America has lost will not be regained, despite his insistence of last year that the Monster Stimulus was designed to return most jobless Americans back to work.
This is the same Vice-President who, during a recent public appearance, when queried by a citizen about reducing his taxes, accused the citizen of being a "smart-ass" and harangued the man that he should say something nice. Most tax-paying Americans would expect that a sitting Vice-President would be a little more sensitive to a citizen's concerns and a little less thin-skinned regarding tax issues, but not so with Authoritarian secondary Biden. We expect that Biden, known more for his ambition than his mental acuity, frequently finds himself in the company of "comparative smart-asses" even while visiting 3rd grade school rooms--Heaven help us all.
But Biden's admission of "No We Can't" speaks to an Administration that has, for all intents and purposes, given up on their country's plight while continuing to pursue their own ambitions. Recounting, yet again, a sitting President who recently, along with his Treasury Secretary, insisted in front of the world that the US could no longer be the engine of the world's free-market and then negatively blamed the American people as "needless excessive borrowers" even while banks had previously been intimidated by Government to lend to those who were disastrously unqualified.
We should now point out to the President that most Americans, especially those who are disadvantaged, do not have the benefit of wealthy, shady political opportunists who are willing to trade treasure for gains in power such as Obama's close benefactor and Chicago friend Tony Rezko.
Relanguaging as a Means of Control; He Who Defines Wins
But then we also have Janet Napolitano of Homeland Security hypocritically stating "No We Can't" regarding the securing of the border. Her exact words were "we are never going to totally seal that border," even while criticizing the Federal Government in a similar manner to Jan Brewer in the not-too-distant past when she was in Brewer's predicament. Napolitano was, "coincidentally," a former Arizona Governor and also seems central in Government's efforts at relanguaging and therefore redefining many political and otherwise "provocative" issues that this Administration has embraced.
For instance, Napolitano recently indicated to all Government Departments that the Gulf Spill would be selectively relanguaged to "the BP caused disaster" (Good Grief). Also Recently, the White House, in response to gales of criticism concerning the President's frequent forays into "playtime," which ostensibly includes golfing, basketball, Republican squash and the like, has decided to relanguage the President's recreational activities into what the Administration now has decided to be referred to as "clearing his mind."
Here at Conservative Refocus, always being civic-minded as it regards our Leaders, have come up with a number of other relanguaging items or "alternative suggestions" which the White House might consider useful in their efforts to deflect from the President's actual activities.
A Conservative Effort At Aiding The White House
For instance, when the President is obviously playing basketball, which is sometimes difficult to hide, we find the term "Flexible Global Manipulation" might prove more suitable while sounding "really" officious. In addition, rather than rudely referring to the President's having to use the restroom, we would recommend a Latin derivative to throw at us "common folk" to make the activity look terribly important; therefore, we believe "Potus Vacuus Excursion" sounds truly awe inspiring and will also make the President look extremely industrious especially after having drank a lot of fluids.
Should the President elect to have additional offspring, rather than shamelessly bringing the President's personal life into the mix, we recommend that the White House use the mystical term "Nephalim Creation" in keeping with the President's oft spoke of mystical qualities. Also, and in that particular vein, Humankind has always searched for the appropriate ways to say "when the moment's right" without saying it, but rather than boorishly announcing it to everyone we would recommend the term "Procreative Glandular Evacuation," which could even pique the interest of the International Red Cross while dispelling and recycling the former criticisms into praise.
Last but not least, borrowing from Vice-President Biden's somehow intimate knowledge that the President is "very clean" not to mention "articulate" obviously requires a regimen of superlative hygiene, but should not be spoken of directly in good taste. Here, instead of using the age-old "taking a bath" explanation, we would recommend the term "Sequential Self-Baptizing Episode," which would also be effective at inspiring the Media's continued awe of the "Commandeer In Chief."
The Straw Man as Talisman
Ultimately these efforts at relanguaging, while we can sometimes laugh, are also fairly troubling when looked at in an historical context--not withstanding the recent evasive comments on display by Democratic Leaders while at Senator Robert Byrd's funeral. On a far more serious note, and in direct correlation to the relanguaging efforts that we have both observed and joked of, we can now begin to see the true direction of where this Administration is trying to lead. In a 2001 interview of Obama, while still a State Senator in Chicago, the President chillingly referred to the US Constitution as "a list of negative rights."
Obama went on to say that "the Constitution does not indicate what government can do directly for you" (which could also be construed as "to you" in this environment). Here many Liberal and otherwise apologists would use the old "Straw Man" argument by saying that the quote was taken out of context and had nothing to do with the message Obama ultimately delivered. But in fact, erecting a "Straw Man" or "Scarecrow" in order to deflect the argument away from the original point and send the focal point off in a differing direction has become a daily if not hourly tactic of this Administration and President.

This "Straw Man" or "Scarecrow" tactic seems to have also been used to great artifice in a recent speech by the President in which he brought up the subject of "Immigration Reform," even while the economy has stalled and the Oil Spill has created a ruinous environment in the Gulf. The President, who will now most likely lose the House of Representatives to the Republicans, may actually be seeking a new voter block which could eventually total anywhere from 10 to 15 million Illegals, or he may simply be trying to skew the country's attention away from the damaging evidence of repetitive failure on behalf of the country that currently exists. There has also been Capital Hill talk of an "Executive Order" to simply decree the Illegals to be citizens. At any rate, the President never went on to state his direct point but essentially broke the ice into this subject for reasons not entirely understood--which did, indeed, inflame all to some degree.
A New Use for the Dynamic Equalizer
We have also now been treated to the delightful news that the Justice Department is now dropping a slam dunk case against the militant "Black Panther" members who were actually blocking precinct access to certain voters which was clearly caught on tape. In fact a State Attorney General Lawyer actually resigned from the Justice Department when he learned that the Attorney General was purportedly dropping all cases of voter intimidation cases where "Minority defendants" were involved--which should not need to be spelled out as to whom the victims might be.
Likewise, we have a report that states that a number of Automobile Dealerships, which were mystifyingly canceled during the Government takeover of car manufacturers, were actually canceled selectively based upon the political ideology of the Dealership's owners. If this did actually occur then the Conservative stance on health care coverage is "dead on" as rationing of care could be used as either a political tool or a weapon--take your pick. In this same vein we also have the Mainstream Media, in conjunction with the Administration reporting that the Republicans recently "blocked" the extension of unemployment benefits which is simply untrue.
The Republicans actually required the Democrats to utilize existing unspent funds from the "Stimulus" rather than adding to an already unworkable deficit (only 48% of the Stimulus funds have been used to date) to fund the extension of benefits. The Democrats REFUSED, no doubt, the money being intended for more important Statist uses such as voter fraud and getting re-elected rather than being spent on puny peasants.
Governmentology: The Codex Comes into Focus
All of this taken into account while not forgetting the instances brought up in our prior article " The Deep Impact Presidency" and the ongoing news that we take in every day which tends to often follow a certain bizarre pattern. In addition to the strange economic missteps we have seen, we can finally begin to connect the dots with regard to the seemingly haphazard if not slipshod methodology of this Administration and its goals. We can also see that the President seeming to follow a rigid, unspoken "hyper-Statist dogma," which could be euphemistically termed "Governmentology." Unfortunately for the President, kneeling at the alter of Governmentology is a tricky undertaking as most individuals will not willingly go along with the overall concept of "Government as God."

Much like Scientology and other "humanity as God" religions, including Black Liberation Theology, the as of yet undefined religion of Governmentology reveres a construct of Man; an idol if you will, but in addition, is connected to a figurative "Central Governance Cathedral." Statism is a more basic definition but leaves out, more or less, the devout religious component which would often rail against strict Statism as too plain vanilla. But not the stealthy Governmentologists. The unwitting Disciples of Governmentology appear to be the Democrats in Congress, and we need not point out whom they follow.
The central theme of the Governmentologists appears to be "redistribution," simply because such a theme can be couched in an innocent construct of trying to draw down the deficit, saving on healthcare, helping the poor and other such civic-minded goals--even while inexorably clawing for the ultimate globalism goal of a "globally centralized" human condition--thus the term Governmentology.
When viewed in extreme retrospect, the President has seemingly focused every one of his both singular and collective efforts on the abominable, unconstitutional practice of redistribution as a service to Governmentology much like, say, a tithe if you will--as a means to an end. When you now view the often bizarre efforts that seemingly make no true sense to the country's progress, you might try to remember to follow the component of redistribution as it would apply to any given political instance.
While most place their faith in God, The President seems to have chosen to place his faith in government.
“When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.”
~Thomas Jefferson
