Conservative Refocus
As America bends under the weight of Statism, many have speculated that with the President's declining popularity, a likelihood of losing the House, and a growing Civilian discomfort with the Government's over-reaching efforts, Obama might move back to the center and govern in greater moderation, similar to Clinton. However, with the President's "Head of Medicare and Medicaid" recess appointment of an avowed "Redistributionist" in Donald Berwick, Obama has now sent a clear message with regard to his intent. Donald Berwick's radical views would most likely have never made it through the confirmation hearings--a fact that is agreed upon by most--but additionally appears to be a clear evasion of the normal rules historically ascribed to by Presidents.
Unfortunately for both the President and his Countrymen, Obama's inclination, it would now seem, is to move further towards the "radical left," if that's even possible. But in fact, this has disturbed a large number of Obama's more center-left base.
After both seeing this and hearing of other bizarre "Governmentology" antics over these past 10 days, we are reminded of the old saying "give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves." In this particular instance, we will have to include nearly the entire cast of the Executive and Legislative branches, along with the grossly culpable Mainstream Media, as the self-inflicting instigators of an ever-increasing governmental hegemony that is driving its citizens beyond outrage.
One must now wonder if we even have that much rope in America. If not, perhaps they might try the thousands of miles of unused "oil-booms" sitting packaged in warehouses and dotted all over the fruited plain for the fashioning of their hangman nooses in a fit of certain "Gulf spill poetic justice" in order to finally complete their needful deed.
Strife, Hegemony and the Pursuit of Misery
For instance, the Executive and Legislative Branches have come out in a renewed assault against the American people in the form of a continually mystifying "inaction" on the one hand--when it comes to bolstering the economy--and a furious assault on the other when it comes to damaging or even halting forward progress of our private industry. When it comes to business and the economy and Government's seemingly successful efforts at furthering the hemorrhaging, the American people "now" find themselves grasping and "just missing" nearly every "pursuit of happiness" that they had previously enjoyed virtually at ease. In fact, not one individual or business in America is even remotely secure in its ongoing endeavors due simply to the artificially induced, roiling storm waters that have become our present state of existence.
Apparently, the one thing that Alinsky and his star pupil never did quite understand is that in America, and the world over, "Business is the People." Too often the shallow-thinking Liberals seem to consider "business" as being some faceless, greedy corporate entity, manned by "sinister robots of avarice," marching around in creased suits wishing nothing more than to greedily take. When in actuality, the word "business" signifies the activities of our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, pretty much the entire population in a concerted effort to serve one another and gain from the endeavor. We are all, in fact, "business" when we deconstruct the meaning attached to the word--and if some are not part of "business" now, then they most likely will be in the future
We have all heard the incessant attacks by both the Socialist Democrats in Congress, the President and most officials of the current Administration as they continue their pummeling of nearly every member of industry to one degree or another. This does indeed injure business; just look at where American Business is right now, but even further--it also injures each individual American that makes up Industry and therefore Society, because virtually each individual is a sub-unit of the main units that make up the Businesses of the Nation. One must also remember that despite having only 5% of the world's population, America produces approximately 25% of the world's economy which is a staggering achievement in productivity if not American exceptionalism. However, you will never hear this fact being raised by our unexceptional leaders.
Attacking the US Enterprise
In large part, the endeavors of business are nothing more or nothing less than a grouping of individuals intent upon one common goal, which is to make their customers want more of the product of their labors so that their Enterprise can grow ever more and so that they can hire more individuals with refreshed ideas and input thereby furthering the self-contained private cultural enterprise. This, in fact, is the common goal of most businesses, and yet the current leaders of the Free World, along with a majority of Congress, apparently do not see this proven reality in such logical terms.
When a President must come out in public and, in an effort to placate increasing unrest, tries to convince the Civil Society that his Administration is not anti-business, then we must at some point realize that something is amiss. Which points to, once again, one of the major reasons we are where we are today as a Nation. But this is not the only reason America's unrest has reached epidemic proportions.
The Mainstream Media, being the gears of a Democratic Republic's information network, is the final flawed cog in our current assemblage of distorted machinations. There have been a vast number of alarming stories that have either been severely twisted or virtually unreported by the media of late. These important items of information would typically serve to keep the worst of government abuse at bay while establishing what is the cream of governance--being an open and transparent Republic. This, as compared to the current world governments, which operate mostly behind ponderously heavy, monolithic doors of self-important non-admittance and servile collectivism which ultimately degrades productivity and therefore Liberties.
The US Department of Prejudice
In one story, the US Department of Justice has been accused of extreme racial bias by one of its own former members. Ironically, one of the main reasons for our Department of Justice is to make certain that our citizens are treated fairly throughout the necessary Democratic Republic experience of "all men being created equal." In this story, the former Attorney General's office lawyer has accused the DOJ, and therefore, Attorney General Eric Holder himself--who is Black--of dropping cases against "Minority Defendants" who have been accused of various voter rights offenses (notice non-minorities, or rather "white people," can still be prosecuted to the full extent of the law).
In this case which has set the entire DOJ on its ear, two Black Panthers wielded batons in an effort to intimidate White voters from entering a precinct in 2008. The video was caught on tape and the case was completed--a slam dunk--when the DOJ inexplicably called the prosecution off-due to a changed policy of prosecuting minorities, or in this case, Blacks. A second lawyer has now come forward confirming the testimony of the initial whistle-blower. But this is not the only story by any means.
In another outrageous occurrence, we have the Chief NASA Administrator, John Bolden's, Al Jazeera interview in which Bolden indicated the President's directive that NASA would "conduct an outreach to the Muslim world" (no other Faiths need apply). Even worse, the fact which ignited a firestorm is this: Al Jazeera was told of this plan "prior" to members of Congress knowing anything of it. Is it any wonder that our space plans can't seem to reach the upper atmosphere?

Other than Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and a scant number of other major outlets, the story has been largely ignored by the Mainstream Media, especially the traditional network news outlets. But that's not all! There is one particular story in which the Republicans are being continuously vilified by the entire Mainstream Media. "Day 36 of the Unemployment Extension Stand-Off" has been misreported throughout the entire "press corpse," as the President would say. (And they might as well be a corpse, it would seem, because the media has repeatedly left out a major cornerstone fact in this "report alone".)
New Reporting Basics: Who,What,When,Where, Slant
The Unemployment Extension Stand-Off has actually been approved by the Republicans; it's the Democrats who are refusing to extend the benefits. "Well thats not what we heard" you might say, and you would be correct. You see, the Democrats have refused to use a portion of the $400 Billion in left-over Stimulus funds which was the single requirement by the Republicans in order to avoid any increases in an already unwieldy deficit. Amazing as that is of itself, this leaves us with a number of additional unanswered questions.
The first would be, why is there still Stimulus left? Do the Brainiacs in Washington truly think that the spending of $400 Billion in a $14 Trillion dollar economy would actually accomplish anything? The second question would be this: Based upon Nancy Pelosi's assertion that unemployment funds "are Stimulus," then why would the Democrats not spend the Stimulus on the citizens whom need it as it was intended--that being STIMULUS as per Pelosi's direct definition?
The third question would be this: Why are all of these Keynesian economic pinheads and politicos so hot for more Stimulus when the first failed miserably, and, even worse, the government still has $400 Billion of unspent funds left over?
There is far more, but I doubt that anyone wishes to read a column the size of the King James version Bible in one sitting.
Citizen Pain: Living in the Eye of the Storm
Most Americans now ply through their days bombarded with endless amounts of bad news followed by worse. Some are currently completing a vacation in which, despite their misgivings concerning the chaos unfolding all around them, have doggedly determined to go and enjoy both themselves and their families. Others are wondering how they are going to find a job in what was formerly the land of opportunity, while still others struggle to meet their mortgages and yet other important obligations. We also now have countless highly educated professionals who are forced to work far outside of their expertise due to a sudden lack of demand for their skills.
We have both teens and College Graduates, many of whom are forced to sit at home or worse due in large part to their particular sector of the job market being occupied by strangers from a strange land. We have a governance that seems occupied with anything but the true plight of its citizens. This Government seems nothing less than obsessed with coming up with ream after ream of rule after rule each massively altering and injecting itself into all American's lives while telling us "how great things are going to be as a result"; "just wait," they exclaim excitedly. We have a Justice Department hellbent on beating down a State which has been forced to take up the mantle of its Federal construct due to a concerted lack in effort of enforcing a very simple law.
We have States who are hellbent on beating back a Federal Government for passing a law that stands far outside of said Government's administrative authority, even while hoping for Federal alms to supplant their lagging coffers. This law was, ironically, passed by member Representatives of the very States which are, indeed, challenging the law. We also have a Justice Department which seems to have dropped a case of voter blocking and intimidation which was confirmed as being racially biased--while then instating a lawsuit against an entire State for a law which, they say, is racially biased--despite the fact that the law has not been made active as of yet (no arrests have been made). We have A President who is now being accused by members of his own avowed race as playing the damaging race card for political gain, even while reports of the President's own prejudices are being pulled out into the light for all to see.
Much like an unspoken secret that the American people harbor in silence, most of the country now applauds when we hear news that the Republicans are obstructing the "Insanicrats" again. When we hear a speech by Obama in which blame is laid at the Conservatives' doorstep for not "participating," most Americans are proud and gain a sprightly bounce in their steps. Finally, we think, the Republicans and the Conservatives are fighting back without fear, and why not? It will most likely take us years to correct the extreme mess that the Liberal Statists have wrought in a scant 18 months. Why add more damage which will only require more pain and effort at some point in the future?
A Biblical Plague of Congress
So jaded have we become that when we do hear of government abnormalities or even recess appointments that break the rules of State, we often now shrug the offense off--in much the same way as someone would shrug off a "door ding" after successfully surviving a high-speed head-on collision.
Note to the "Lost" in both our Congress and Senate: The American People do not wish you to pass anything more, and you obviously know this. It's why you recessed a week earlier than normal. The American people are weary; business is weary; the world is weary in continually waiting for us to "do what we do" and get the world economy moving again; it is our responsibility, so what's different? To the Republicans in the Congress and the Senate, don't worry about the Mainstream Media, worry about "We the People" and what we are going to do in November. Remember (especially you--Lindsey "Tea-Party Bashing" Graham) that you have been locked-out, frozen-out, ignored and otherwise by the Insanicrats and the President, and then you actually want to complicitly join up with them to get what would amount to a "sparse morsel" of your own agenda passed? Wise up.

Look here Brainiacs, when you see a Democrat that actually votes against some nefarious scheme that his or her leadership has hatched from the dungeons of Capital Hill horror, this is a good indication that you Republicans might need to file a nay vote for the bill. When you have a bill that is 30% longer than the King James Version of the Bible, this is good sign that you might need to reassess your yea vote.
Additionally, such is the sad state of things under your Congressional purview, the American people now need to begin a process for honoring those members of both the Congress and the Senate with a "Congressional Badge of Honor" for actually reading a bill before voting on it. In our collective experience in reading these ridiculous bills, a lengthy and extremely technical insurance policy reads like a kid's bedtime story in comparison. How does it feel, by the way, to be the instrument of near imminent failure of a 234 year old Republic?
Living the Statist Dream

Finally,a note to all of the Liberals who are "Lost," in the Government and otherwise, who feel the need to tell their Countrymen how we should live our lives down to the most intimate detail--for reasons most Conservatives cannot even begin to fathom--we have some disturbing news for you.
We are all going to die. No matter what we do or what you say we should do, we will, indeed, expire at some point. The current American date of human expiration is about 78 years. It doesn't matter what we eat or how we eat it, what we smoke, or what we drink, we all have it coming.
Ironically, living within the paradigm that you and your well-intentioned brethren are continually instigating, might soon make death seem laudable--even desirable--as the misery index of your endeavors, if not interrupted, will soon hold us all in its desperate, icy grip.
