America Within the Matrix: A Requiem Rebuttal To Paul Krugman's "Who Cooked The Planet"

Conservative Refocus
In keeping with the ongoing theme of complete disregard towards the combined and true interests of The American People, Judge Susan Bolton emasculated the Arizona Immigration Law by actually blocking the operative part of the law which would aid Arizonians. State Police will, for now, be unable to ask an individual to provide ID in order to ascertain citizenship-however- they can still inquire via other channels.
We are given to understand by the Judge's ruling that, despite the fact the Federal Government has stated that it simply does not have the resources to fully implement its own law, no other primary Authority will be allowed, ostensibly, to enforce said Federal Immigration Law either.

If the implications of this were not so terribly serious this might be leeringly comical. But what we now have is mind-boggling in its perfidy, where a law which was established by a Federal Legislature is actually being disregarded by members of both the Judiciary and members of the Executive branch on the basis that State law cannot trump Federal law even when said Federal law is not being enforced. This begs the question: Why even make such laws if they are to be largely ignored? Or maybe such laws are now meaningless in the surreal world in which we live.
The Metronome of Authoritarianism
Further, we now have an instance where a serious Federal law, as it regards non-US Citizens, is being largely "unenforced," even while US Citizens have no such anarchic luxury within their own pursuits. We must point out that there were several footnotes within the judgement that were critical of the Obama Regime. And yet, the ridiculous standoff as promulgated by the Obama Justice Department and, therefore, Obama, was a continuing "metronomic" slap in the face of the American people.
In fact, adding even more insult to injury, while figuratively forgiving the Illegals their injury of coming to the US unlawfully--the Government's answer is to but go after the US Citizens who employ the Illegals with work and, therefore, sustenance. So, here yet again, we have a totally confused, if not fatally flawed Government policy of going after one grouping of Citizens for illegally aiding another grouping of non-citizens--even while said non-citizens are actually being protected by the Government themselves and are not then technically illegal?
Finally, if it is illegal for law enforcement to check the ID and papers of Illegals, how then can it possibly be lawful for a normal American employer to do the same thing in the Federal mandated requirement to verifiy of legality? What we are now seeing is an Authoritarian application of Hegemony, which is a well-documented phase of societal transition as we travel along the uneven road to a true Socialist State. Hegemony is broadly defined as a predominant influence of either a state, region or group, over another or others.
A Policy of Incoherence
One must remember, this is not the first time that Federally mandated incoherence has happened with regard to the Obama Regime. In fact, the most obvious prior case would have been where the Justice Department indicated that it would not prosecute cases of minority-on-White voter intimidation issues. The reverse, however, being White-on- minority cases, reportedly, will be prosecuted.
We, therefore, are beginning to see a pattern of hegemonically inspired cultural standards coming into play which stem from Marxist theory, and this does not bode well for the Country nor the current Governmental apparatus. This, even while true Fascism is currently also being employed with regard to Government ownership and control of corporations, i.e. GM and Chrysler, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, et al. To that end, Obama actually made a "State approval" appearance at "Government Motors" recently, in order to play up the phantom hysteria over the "battery operated Chevy Volt."

Our only point here would be the recommendation that, what with all of the aforementioned items being in play, the Volt should be thematically re-christened the "Ya volt!" The Liberals then will, no doubt, be falling all over themselves to purchase it and therefore assure their rightful place within the New Order of the Machine.
Yin and Yang
Ultimately, when a Governmental Authority sets an example of disregarding the rule of law, the Citizens are sure to follow form to one degree or another; it is the natural flow and balance of all things, whether it be in the dynamics of a population or within the self-balancing forces of nature.
Further, when a Federal Government can selectively choose which laws it wishes to enforce or relax, either against or in abeyance to a broad grouping of individuals, such Government can then be said to have transgressed into an ever-more incrementally authoritative phase of Statism in which the people of this or any free country will not suffer gladly nor quietly. It is, in fact, one thing to fail at the proper enforcement of a law; it is, however, another thing altogether to block a lesser authority's enforcement of said law.
So, yet once again we have the Federal Government going against the will of the people on a very tenuous--if not questionable--ruling by a sitting Federal Judge. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for this case to actually go to trial. But while a vast majority of Democrats and Liberals will be rejoicing from this temporary ruling, the uneasiness which they must feel as a result of this additional Federal power-grab most likely is profound. The Democrats are the party in power and are therefore "culpable" to any political fallout which will, no doubt, occur--regardless of how they might try to play themselves as being more politically centered in an election time frame as in the case of possible tax relief.
A" View" to a Schill, Hot Flashes and Electric Last Meals
Isn't it amazing how the Democrats suddenly begin to embrace selective Conservative Principles whenever any major election draws near? We are beginning to hear rumblings from a number of the more "Democratic" Socialists within the elected Government that the Bush tax cuts should be extended except for the areas of capital gains taxes and the wealthier taxpayers. This, no doubt, in response to the recent "hesitant" testimony of Fed Chief Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Geithner, not to mention most real-world Economists who have been howling for the Government to stop the madness for quite some time. However, once again, the world in which we live now contains a subtle disconnect, a slight feeling of disengagement seems to have settled over the land.
Both Bernanke and Geithner did recently given subtle indications to the brainiacs in Congress that raising taxes during a deep recession is probably not the best of ideas. While always remembering the rule of "watching what they do instead of what they say," we believe that there may be some semblance of hope that the Democrats will decide to halt their continuing process of ruining America's traditional economic disposition. This despite the fact that they have seemingly dressed the America Economy in an orange jumpsuit, shaved its head, given it a delectable last meal of low-sodium soy-steak and hydroponic veggies and then firmly cinched it into the electric chair of economic execution--hand hovering twitchingly above the "kill" switch.
As to the President, who always wishes to remain in the limelight sans any "real" questions, he decided to appear on an episode of "The View"--blowing off the traditional Boyscout address, no doubt in order to bolster his rapidly falling approval ratings among "colorless" women. This particular show, which mostly plays towards those of the feminine persuasion, is where a number of seemingly-Liberal, post-menopausal women, sit around and cackle about this or that while often ganging up on the sole Conservative lady in the group (who just so happens to be fairly hot). The President did, unsurprisingly, fit right in as the hot flashes flew and the fawning hysteria ensued.
Presidential Subterfuge Caught on Tape
It was our wish that the Conservative in the group might have pointedly inquired of the President why he had much earlier, and before the American people, condemned the release of the Lockerbie Bomber Terrorist while secretly requesting to the Scottish Government that the Terrorist be set free. The Terrorist, who brought down a 747 with an inflight bomb, ended up arriving home to a cheering crowd in Libya with the goal of completing his life as a "free man" due to an advanced state of prostate cancer.

It is our understanding that the terrorist's condition has markedly improved since his homecoming; "PSA we can believe in no doubt." At least now Obama, BP Oil and the people of Libya are happy in that they all seemingly received their full measure of wishes satisfied. Nevermind the terrorist's victims and their families.
Meanwhile, the Nation's small business owners continue dragging their thirsty, emaciated companies through a wasteland of Socialistic Democratic policies, finding only small puddles here and there with which to quench their thirst and continue their agonizingly painful crawl as the Nations GDP, and therefore economy, has been confirmed as stalling yet again. Was this actually the change that so many hoped for? Does anyone now doubt that despite having a hearty and strong economy, that same economy can be made uncharacteristically fragile by the policies of redistribution and Statism? Have we all had enough yet?
Apparently not. While 73% of all Americans oppose a moratorium on deep water drilling, the Regime has, in typical fashion, skated right past the Country's wishes on imposing a new moratorium. This even though we now have learned that the clean-up companies are having a difficult time finding any oil to clean-up. Apparently the environment has done most of the work for us due to the fact the the leaked "Gulf light sweet crude" has actually evaporated, in addition to being devoured by microbes. So, once again, the earth has naturally responded to an environmental mishap as it always does, which brings us to the next possible incursion of Government into the Cap and Trade/Global Warming realm.
Chicken Little's Favorite Band: Pauley and The Meltdown Hockeysticks
While many have stated that the worldwide man-made global warming furor has subsided, we still have pockets of ferocious "Chicken Littles" scampering about and repeatedly yelling "the sky is falling" in journalism reports, academian doom-saying and scientific funding proselytism. In that vein, NY Times Liberal Columnist, Paul Krugman, citing the end of Cap and Trade legislation and our impending doom, has weighed in to publicly mourn the loss of the global redistributionist attempts in the form of carbon emitting taxation.
Krugman begins by eluding to the, apparently, Pantheistic Gods, chuckling at Man's decision to end climate change action in the hottest stretch of temperatures on record. Amazingly, we start out in agreement! It's what they are chuckling about that is in argument. The premise that Man has any sort of ability to effect climate control is what they should "euphemistically" be chuckling about. Paul, further, the entire globe just suffered through one of the harshest winters on record. Typically, Krugman takes a couple of months of heightened temperatures while leaving out the prior record-breaking season of global cold. He goes on to state that 2005 was the warmest year on record, which, in actuality was, indeed, the warmest year in a 15 year trend of cooling temperatures.
What the "real Scientists" are actually pointing to now is the sun or solar cycle and its massive affect on Earth temperatures as, logically, being the actual, if not self-evident, determinant of global temperatures. As pointed out in an earlier article titled "Global Warming Meltdown", the vagaries of earthen temperatures are volatile at best and are difficult to observe and draw conclusions from--even in a 500 year period. Further, there are still concerns that the true threat in our impending future might be a trend towards global cooling and its affect on growing seasons, etc.
Paul then wonders if deniers will ever say, "OK, I guess I was wrong."
To which we would state, go ahead Paul--say it, we are waiting-- if you are referring to the deniers of the "truth." Your European Socialist counterparts have all, pretty much, piled off the bus and sprinted away regarding anthropogenic global warming. Perhaps you might consider reading something other than the NY Times to get up to speed on things.
Help! His Argument Has Fallen and It Can't Get Up!
Paul then goes on to question the reasons for climate change legislation's having died in the Senate and proceeds to tell us what didn't cause the failure, in his opinion.

His first reason is that we didn't fail to act because of legitimate scientific doubts. He says every piece of valid evidence of long-term temperature averages, arctic sea ice volumes, melting glaciers etc., points to a continuing and possibly accelerating rise in global temperatures.
Our response, much like taking candy from a baby, would be that Paul has already hit the nail on the head for us when he qualifies his dictum with the word valid. Virtually every piece of evidence Krugman cites has been shown to be largely invalid, from the hidden temperatures in Mann's hockey stick to the shifting--if even existent--Chinese monitoring stations, to the unreported newly formed ice that gets left out of various studies due to their academian inconvenient truths coming to bear in an antagonist counterpoint to these studies.
Paul then states the bald face lie that the evidence has not been tainted by scientific misbehavior. He goes on to say, "you have probably heard about the accusations against researchers, fabricated data, supposedly damning "Climategate emails" and so on but each supposed scandal was eventually unmasked as a fraud." Yet Paul fails to cite any evidence of such fraud against the researchers. This is due simply to the fact that the fraud against the researchers only exists in Paul's very fluid imagination, which seems plugged into another, etheric domain.
There has been no countermanding evidence of fraud against the exposers--not even a tittle. Despite the fact that you will rarely read of the actual research fraud within the American media, the simple truth is that the British media has done a thorough job of uncovering the scandal along with American Bloggers and American Scientists. It is true that Michael Mann, who was at the center of the scandal, has been let off the hook, but only by an extremely wide and scientifically diverse panel of six fellow Academians?--which is all Paul requires to support his sagging, shallow argument, apparently.
Flatulence on A Planetary Scale
Next Paul questions if reasonable concerns about the economic impact of climate legislation blocked action? His answer: "No." Paul states that we should note how Conservatives who laud the limitless power and flexibility of markets turn around and insist the economy would collapse if we were to put a price on carbon. All serious estimates suggest we could phase in limits on greenhouse gas emissions with, at most, a small impact on the economy's growth rate.
Our answer: Indeed, Paul, we have heard this old Liberal song played many times before. In actuality, placing unnatural government limits and/or requirements i.e.--phasing in--on industry is precisely what caused our current economic meltdown in housing. Remember that, Paul? Remember the strengthened (Democratic) Community Reinvestment Act, the practice of redlining and its Legislative answer, which was to arm-twist banks into making subprime, signature-only loans that unwitting individuals could ill-afford? And then the coercement of mortgage purchasing giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy these loans and later sell them to Wall Street as a packaged bundle of worthless turdles in a perfumed and lovely package? And they then used virtually every possible (and some impossible) measure at their disposal to try to make these flatulent CDOs profitable?
So, Paul, in stark mindfulness, we know how you Statists enjoy phasing in various Governmental policies. As a matter of fact, we have suffered through one phasing in after another over the past 18 months and shudder now in despair at the damaging collective effects of your efforts. In fact, everything that the Socialist Democrats have accomplished has been at the extreme expense of Middle America. But is not this what you wanted? And further, how long do you think it might be before these policies infest or infect themselves into your storied towers?
Phasing in Failure Hasn't Worked So Far, But If at First You Don't Succeed....
We have seen and understand the Cap and Tax policies that the real Obama wished to put into play in order to eliminate coal powered plants and likewise. His answer was to make it impossible to even build such plants despite the fact that no practical alternative exists. One has to build a new house before burning down the old one, otherwise, suffering will rule the day. But the ends justify the means in your world. So, no thanks, you can keep your phased-in policies and perhaps send them to Greece or Spain and see if they need even more of the same.
Paul then goes on to conclude that greed and cowardice were the reasons that the legislation died in the Senate, which is another way of saying, "I have no idea why the legislation died in the Senate." And yet, we can simplify it for you Paul. It's simply because the Democrats no longer have the stomach for governing against the Will of the People. They are beginning to fear much more than just losing an election. Additionally, your "Messiah" has lost much of his popularity and, therefore, much of his legislative prowess. It ain't rocket science, Einstein. Obama and the Democrats have spent all of their political capital along with all of America's treasury. This is the answer that seems to elude you, even now.
Paul goes on then to typically cite "Big Business" as being the harbinger of all ills and as having funded anti-environmentalists and the like to employ a campaign of disinformation against Cap and Trade. Yada, yada, yada. Even if that were true, these companies lack the megaphone that is "Big Media," as well as the clout that encompasses Big Government. Further, who could possibly blame any company for looking after its own employees and interests against a burgeoning State Machine that seems intent upon eventually nationalizing every industry in its path?
Yet Paul degrades further into besmirching even his own kind as he points to politicians who spoke out vociferously against Cap and Trade when we now understand that the President himself was one of the largest receivers of Big Oil money. In fact, big business knows little if any limitation between one party or another, Paul--you know this. One of Nancy Pelosi's largest contributors was both a health insurance and a pharmaceutical company, so the evil is spread pretty evenly on that scale. But have you ever looked at the Union's largest donation recipients, Paul? Why don't you check that out and get back to us.
Living within the Matrix: A Requiem for a Dream
Krugman then singles out Sen. John McCain, who also just happens to be Obama's favorite Senator, as being the greatest friend to the environment at one time, but who now seems to have switched sides and is no longer a "true believer." Krugman then states that McCain suddenly sacrificed his principles in the interests of his political career.
Paul, have you ever considered the fact that Sen. McCain, being a pretty bright guy, suddenly switched his outlook on global warming when he finally realized the extreme mountain of evidence that points to man-made global warming theory as being a hoax?

The simple fact is, Ladies and Gentlemen, that Environmental Marxism in the form of redistribution lies at the heart of both global warming theory and Cap and Trade taxation. It is simply that simple.
Either take the little red pill and unhook from the Matrix or keep drinking the red Kool-aid in your cozy pod Paul. Either way, most Americans have decided to unhook and stand up for their fading way of life while there is yet time.
It's neither greed nor cowardice, but rather it's simply what is right, true and necessary.
