Conservative Refocus
It's official. We, as Americans, can now stand convinced that our leadership has been taken over by either escaped jabbering lunatics from a bizarre parallel Universe or perhaps even body snatching Aliens from another planet. The stream of nonsensical invective has now reached a siren-like pitch that even the most audibly challenged could never fail to hear and yet rarely, if ever, understand what's being said. This babbling has even consternated the "Axis Press" to the point of numerous reports calling the White House's message "incoherent," which might be considered generous in this case.
Part of this "incoherence" can be tied to the Ground Zero debacle in which the President presided over a Muslim Group dinner--called an "Iftar"--at the White House where he strongly affirmed the construction of the Ground Zero Mosque. Another daft spate of incoherence came from Speaker Nancy Pelosi who, not to be outdone by the President, let loose a quasi-tyrannical outtake where she actually suggested that those who were in opposition to the Mosque be investigated. Um...that would mean a whopping 65% of all Americans. (You might need to hire a few illegals to make that happen Nancy, so how do you say "Ground Zero" en Espanol?)
While the third deluge belonged to the Tyrannical Trio's Sen. Harry Reid, who surprisingly indicated that the Mosque "should not be built." Indeed this was a rare, if not premier, presentation where Reid has actually agreed with the American people, perhaps for the first time in his rather dubious career--which is now in dire need of votes--in meaningful explanation. "Incoherents R Us" prevails.
Of Pigs and Pew and Kosher Rue
During his speech at the Iftar, the President forcefully ruminated that Muslims have every right to construct a Mosque at Ground Zero--this to a hearty round of applause from the attendees. The Media, in an apparent "see we told you so" rejoinder, then dutifully paraded this fact to us common folk, which predictably, went over like a prize winning pig at a passover sedar. The combined uproar caused the President to immediately backpedal the following day to the point of "Clintonianly" suggesting that he was not speaking to the wisdom of where the Mosque was being built--just to the right for the Mosque to be built. But the President's near defiant wording the night before seemed to hold no reservations whatsoever with regard to the tactical location of the Mosque's appropriateness.

This proved to be too much for a select few from the Media to the point of one outlet, Pew, actually conducting a poll in which Americans were asked if they thought the President was Muslim. The answers weren't surprising. The number of Americans who believe that the President is actually Muslim appears to be growing. From March of 2009 to August 19, the percentage of Americans who believe our President is Islamic grew from 11% to 18% while even members of the President's own party are beginning to doubt his Christianity. The number of Democrats who believe the President is Christian has dropped by 20%, while the President's most ardent supporters, the Liberals, have dropped by 25%.
So what gives? While a larger and larger proportion of the populace tends to now doubt Obama's actual faith, both the President and the Media continue to virtually ridicule those who have the gall to actually question his religious beliefs, birth origins, etc. even while conducting polls in a need, perhaps, to ascertain the breadth of the vexatious problem.
The answer is most likely less complex than many would admit. The simple fact is that the President's own words regarding select Christians as being "bitter clingers to their religion and guns," his words from "The Audacity of Hope" in which he indicated that, if the political winds shifted in an ugly direction, he would "stand with the Arab and Pakistani Americans," and other such utterances have led many to question, whether fairly or not, the President's actual allegiances not withstanding his continual attacks on Conservatives, The Tea Party and perhaps even those who frequent tanning parlors.
Crusade, Jihad, Crusade, Jihad...Decisions, Decisions
Further, when the respondents were asked why they felt that the President might seem increasingly by many to be more Muslim than Christian, a large number indicated that their assumptions were based on both Media reports and what the President has actually stated over time. Granted, a number of dissenters have fabricated or misquoted Obama as to his origins, his religion, etc, yet it can also be purely stated that the President's apologists have committed these acts as well, along with a sycophantic Media who are only now beginning to wonder about "Their Man" in some few circles.
During a speech in Turkey, the President pointedly stated, "although as I mentioned, we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation; we consider ourselves a nation of citizens bound by ideals and a set of values." Here the President was actually voicing an opinion rather than a fact. We are actually a predominately Christian nation which respects and even reveres other beliefs which, once again, is an avenue of exceptionalism in an decidedly unexceptional world.
Our Constitution is based upon a Judeo-Christian set of values which can in no way jell with a secondary or even tertiary set of harsh, and what many would consider to be sexist, unjust laws which are commonly manifested in Islamic Shariah law. But the nation is not Christian by edict, but rather the nation was partially built on the premise of our Constitutional Republic's inability to coerce or force either religion or irreligion down anyone's throats.
Perhaps a very telling fact within all of the spreading confusion is not how "we see the President" but rather how those not born in America see the President. According to the extremely well-traveled and highly respected Rev. Franklin Graham, the vast membership of Islam in other countries see Barack Obama as one of their own.
Media-ocrity
Conversely however, the overall response from what should be a questioning Media on matters of Islam, Mosques and Presidential veracity has been one of defending the Mosque and even Islam rather than questioning the motives of Islamic Religious leaders themselves. The Liberals in our midst have seemed to fall right in with the Media, not surprisingly, since they seem to be one in the same for the most part. So, we now have, once again, the Executive branch of our nation going against the will of the American people--in spirit--if not in fact.
Ultimately does it matter to which faith the President adheres? Not really, but the constant stream of questions which continue to be "adequately" unanswered does create a patina of doubt among a populace searching for answers as the country's problems aggregate from what many have termed a lack of substantive leadership and certainly truth.
In other matters of extreme incoherence, the President recently let loose a string of "blame" against a group of individuals that has resisted the President in every one of his non-efforts with regard to our economy. This group was not specifically the Republicans, Conservatives nor Rush listeners. No indeed, this group was actually Congress! After 18 months of rubberstamping virtually every piece of legislation the President has loosed upon a now leery populace, and allowing others to conveniently languish (the 2010 budget has never been passed due to "political considerations") the President actually had the audacity of hope to blame Congress.
Incoherent? You bet ya! as Sarah would say. The President, quite appropriately, made these observations at the end of his driveway to members of the press while he departed for a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard--his sixth vacation in 8 months. So not only has the President espoused seeming incoherence on Congress, jobs, healthcare and virtually every other subject under the sun--including his vacation schedule--in addition to possibly his faith, the President's words themselves now seem to exhibit an incoherence all their own even while he appears to be rapidly becoming a legend--but only in his own mind--and maybe his staff's--to an increasingly lesser degree. The self-adulating pearls of wisdom now falling from both the the lips of the bureaucrats and those of the President seem to deliver an uncharacteristic wet "plopping" sound as each utterance falls to the ground making us reminiscent of our days on the farm tending to the beasts of the field.
Obama's Play-doh...America the Shape-able
For instance, Obama, visiting Hollywood recently, could be heard trumpeting that his Presidency has been one of the most "progressive" political triumphs in history. Perhaps, but what we now understand is that Progressivism apparently encompasses, for the most part, an economy that incites many to flee, imposes severe efforts at curtailing both liberty and free speech, insures failures in foreign military campaigns, promotes extreme political losses for the "Party of Power" in the following election, and an ever-increasing spiral of joblessness, along with the impending doom for what has been the best medical care system on the planet.
So who knew? This, among a legion of other issues too numerous to mention, is why the President's message seems plausible only to the apparatchiks. Obama went on to state in the fundraiser that he ran for President in an effort to "shape history."
Our take on the President's shaping of American history would be that he and the Democrats, having been in control since 2008, have done an admirable job in short order if their idea of the shaping of history is to starve the economy to the point of its being an emaciated, barely recognizable shadow of its former self. Fittingly, perhaps Supreme Leader Obama should soon consider changing our unofficial National Anthem to "God Bless Anorexia" in tandem with Michelle's efforts to slim down the younglings as our star spangled overall collapse continues. But, as if this all is not enough, the President and the Democrat's shaping of history may now also be reshaping the medical quality of life itself for many.

To explain, the Federal Government has apparently now brought to life its "non-existent" Death Panels. Our fearless Media (in Great Britain) has issued a report that the FDA has now voted 12-1 to drop one of the most effective cancer treatment drugs in modern medicine's arsenal. Avastin, which is considered a multi-spectrum cancer treatment, was dropped from consideration as an approved drug due to "cost concerns." So the rationing that would never, ever happen has now slowly and incrementally begun, Ladies and Gentlemen. Even more interesting is the fact that the government-controlled FDA is responsible for approving all drugs for use by insurance carriers. By the Federal Government's actions in disapproving the drug for treatment, one of the most effective cancer drugs in existence will now not be covered by insurance carriers--due to cost. And remember: This is but the start of it.
The Audacity of Dopes
Perhaps now might be a good time to ask: Where are the howels from the Media on this? We would typically expect a Media cacophony of deafening volume on the ratcheting-back of Socialized life-saving efforts, be they drugs or otherwise, which are now taking place in the form of cutbacks from massive health care law changes which were designed to reduce costs while increasing care for all--and yet so far? Only the crickets chirping. Perhaps Avastin should change the name of its drug to Mosquevastin or Islamavastin in order to gain the general Media's support and defense.
A partial answer to this particular brand of health care incoherence has been circulating from the Administration's strongest healthcare allies according to a report in the Politico by Ben Smith. Apparently, the main reason for Obama and the Democrat's having pushed the healthcare law through was in order to reduce our costs and, therefore, our deficits as outlined in the President's inaugural speech and later in his State Of The Union address. Now it can be seen by all that this simply will not happen.
The Liberals' and the Democrat's latest answer to this newly revealed quandary? Simple enough. Rephrase the intent of the legislation to speak to how much better it will be and how it can be improved in the future. In other words, implement a new set of talking points now that the older ones will not function properly. Remember though, Ladies and Gentlemen, if the entire reason for this massive change in medicine's structure can now be seen to only further damage our quality of care, why the insistence upon furthering it? We do have partial answers to this question, in addition to the most obvious--that being that Liberals are not the brightest bulbs on the tree, and Robert Gibbs being right for once--that perhaps the entire Professional Left does need to be drug tested--which, we should point out to Gibbs, would most likely wipe out Obama's entire base in one fell swoop, while improving Mexico's debilitating drug cartel problems.

Now Let Me Be Clear....
The answer to this ongoing theme of incoherence is one that is becoming increasingly clear as we can now easily contrast the policies of the Liberals in power against our Conservative beliefs and values as a nation for the first time in a long, long time. The one theme that keeps rudely popping out is simply that Liberal values seemed to be based, not on workable answers and viable solutions but rather on one particular idiom that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. We have all seen it time and time again and yet the most obvious answer is so horribly specious that most would simply throw it out as being too simplistic.
But here now is the ongoing Liberal theme that we have repeatedly observed:
Liberals seem to believe that whatever the majority of the people of the United States know is right must be wrong because it is of the Masses and of the Common Folk and, therefore, by its very nature, must be in error and should be countered and opposed at every opportunity--no matter the sense or the nonsense of the thing. stimulus, health care, deficits, spending, The Constitution, illegal immigration, et al.
The Progressives seem to further believe that whatever values and principles Conservatives hold dear must be opposed. This opposing ideology, which now seems based solely upon refuting common sense approaches, history and traditional values, is now to be highly valued and pursued and even taught to our young no matter the costs nor the soundness of the counter-ideas. No grounding principles per say, but rather reactionary opposition to the prevailing mindset in nearly all things held dear if not sacred. In conclusion, therefore, the Liberals would seem to hold the belief that America has been wrong for the past 230 years, a new counter-ideology which is rooted in nothingness.
And we wonder in confusion why our economy is wrecked?
Think about it.
