Conservative Refocus
As the crispness and splendor of Autumn descends upon us, forests settling down for their long winter's nap, we can begin to once again smell the familiar oaken aroma of hardwood fires, feel the unusual chills in a brisk evening air, even hear the shrill but inviting whistles of the referees on the football field. But, there is something... else...in the air as well. What could it possibly be?
It seems like an odd aroma that evokes emotional memories of stress, instances of strain, even hysteria--maybe even a sudden epiphany of understanding that all things are about to be drastically changed...Oh! Good grief, of course we know what it is! Nothing less than the acrid emoting of Liberal panic billowing darkly out of Washington--and holy smoke, call the EPA, the air is literally reeking with it!

While Michelle Obama struggles to maintain "hygienically sound" spirit activity around both her and the President, Obama can be heard ominously exclaiming that "if the Republicans take over the House, they will have to work with me in a serious way." The reaction to this culminated with most Conservatives and Republicans either throwing objects like staplers at the wall or laughing in unbelieving derision. Truthfully, the President and the Obamacrats, under the leadership of Pelosi and Reid, literally rewrote the rules--having locked the Republicans out of any meaningful input for the last two years, ironically, on the first day of their completed rise to power. Standby for reverse retribution Mrs. Pelosi; the rules that you unwittingly rewrote will now be advantaged by the opposition as a result of your witless handiwork.
Men At Work
For the President to now come out on the eve of potentially huge political losses and state that the Republicans will have to "work with him," only places an emphasis on Obama's increasingly evident, if not worrisome, narcissism, but we have also heard that one particular Republican, Rep. Darrell Issa does, indeed, have intentions of working with Obama in a very serious and very final way. No doubt, Obama still seeing himself as the center of the political universe, only emphasizes the dirty little secret that no one seems to wish to talk about. But here at Conservative Refocus, bringing up the unmentionables has been our specialty. So, here goes:
The simple fact is that what both the Media and the Democrats consistently fail to understand about the will of the people of the US is that a majority of Americans DO NOT want the Republicans to work with the President--at all--simply because everything the President and the Democrats have undertaken has ended up collapsing in on itself like a poorly constructed lawn chair. Further, the American jury of Citizens will soon arrive with a decision, which will confirm to all that everything Obama and the Democrats have undertaken--supposedly on behalf of America and its citizenry--has proven to be universally detrimental not only to just the US, but to the entire Globe--and the people will correct this in spite of the lapdog media. You see, the true experts on America and what has happened to it can only lie with those who have collectively undergone the emergent punishment of the hapless politicos currently making policy, and they have already had enough.

Of Rough-riders, Whores and Bathroom Stall Doors
We can further preface this fact--with a stern gaze to certain politicians--that whomever within the Republican party endeavoring to do the work of the President and his handmaidens can expect a rough ride for the remainder of their term (unless Obama amazingly morphs into a Ronald Reagan doppelganger--which is highly unlikely). As we have stated so many times before--this is not the all-absorbent, dent-proof America of years past--the measures that will need to be put into place correcting the slew of problems that we now face will not be "business as usual."
Our point in this regard has, even recently, been illustrated all over the star-spangled plain. For instance, in the California's Governor race, a note of Democratic desperation fills the air as we hear of the latest election drama ostensibly known as "whore-Gate" emerging. Here, the supposedly non-sexist and Uber-liberal Jerry Brown, and/or staff members, could be heard actually talking of implementing a churlish High School slanderfest which will eventually come to be known as the "Meg Whitman is a whore campaign." When we further note that Jerry Brown is the actual sitting Attorney General for California, we can begin to see why California has incurred such a miserable slate of problems--even in comparison to the rest of the States in their Les Miserableness.
One must suppose the next dirty trick will be Brown's staff attorneys' mission to descend en masse on the state's restrooms to hastily scrawl Whitman's phone number--along with the "for a good time" bit of salty slang. But we also have noted that the "feminist" organization know as NOW has continued its endorsement of Brown, even going so far as to defend him. This, no doubt, speaks to the ladies' past mistake of dizzily misinterpreting what the "W" within the Organization's acronym actually stands for. The next big question might be what happens to their membership numbers when they finally understand what the "W" actually stands for and the implicated lack of action explained in that regard.
Bonanza's Harry Reid: Patriarch of Nevada's "Plunderosa" Ranch
In Nevada, we have Sharron Angle's "ripping Reid a new one" debate in which Angle successfully mounted a furious attack on virtually every crease in Reid's rusted legislative armor by asking him how he became a multi-millionaire while being in "public service" for over thirty years. Good question. Reid went on to state that his rise to mega land-holding multi-millionaire was a result of being a very successful private attorney (for two whole years according to the fiercely veracious and oft maligned Rush Limbaugh--wow indeed). Harry Reid, who we still expect to eventually molt and shed his skin while all look on in complete revolted fascination, actually went on an attack of --get this--those dastardly Government-befouled health insurance companies... yet again.
Now to us, this only bespeaks of the extreme desperation of Reid's position. It wasn't so much Reid's attack that scalds incredulity, its what he stated: "Insurance Companies have almost destroyed our economy." Incorrect Mr. Reid--but you knew that, didn't you sir? It's Democrat policies like the Community Reinvestment Act, which you, incidentally, championed, that have nearly destroyed our economy--in addition to massive deficits, uncontrolled spending and a pervasive uneasiness that has now saturated into the America's marketplace along with a host of known items too numerous to mention--each of which bears your fingerprints.
But the most telling rage in politics has seen an ongoing series of attacks by the President as a new "villain-of-the-week" has emerged. This time the President has apparently devolved into a mass of quivering rage at the one entity which has brutally exercised its expertise at furthering that which Obama despises more than any other entity known to the man. Was it some dreaded disease which can cause one's extremities to quickly decay and fall off? No. Perhaps it was some militaristic Militia that despises Obamacare and will blow up things to exact revenge? Nope-- you're still cold. OK, how about that foreign terrorist group whose hobby it is to kill Americans and then write articles on how best to accomplish that unholy task? Negative, nope and no on all counts. You give up?
Chamber of Horrors?
Voila', Obama's latest villain is The US Chamber Of Commerce, that pillowy haven for ultra-Capitalists whose main job it is to figure out ways to promote American Industry and excite US job creation against the bitter natures of those now in power, apparently. No doubt, Obama's other arch enemy, aside from Conservatives occupying the opposite end of the arch. The Democrats, seemingly tiring at the manufacture of ordinary villains, have decided to branch off and pursue a more "suitable" quarry--that being nationalistic Capitalism itself.
Their chosen weapon of attack was even more laughable than the actual attack, to the point of angering even normally apologistic members of the Mainstream Media. When David Axelrod came on the CBS News program, Face The Nation, Bob Schieffer--upon hearing Axelrod's formerly veiled answer as to who the White House was going after--seemed to slump in near disbelief. He actually stated to Axelrod: "Is that all you've got?" To which Axelrod then verbally pedaled up Schiefer's near vertical incline of disappointment at a furious rate, but to no avail. By the way facial hair tends to go gray before your coif there Axelrod--might want to consider a lighter shade from Mrs. Clairol before people start calling you Count Axelrod. At any rate, part of the Liberal chagrin to Obama's charge most likely stems from a number of extraordinarily odd Obama campaign donations which will now bob back to the surface as counter-charges must be refreshed by the President's loyal opposition.
But the ongoing damage, you see, had been done. In fact much of the Liberal Media's sails seemed to go limp all over the US--the graceful yet plodding ships of the Media were using whatever remaining wind that was still available to carry the now voluminous cargo of propaganda that the Obama administration produces. But the massive dreadnoughts went dead in the water on this news, no doubt, knowing that the only acceptable response would be that of disparagement and chagrin.

The Attack-Dog In Chief
You see Axelrod, being Obama's infocubine-in-chief, could not provide any evidence which backed-up his claim that China was funneling money into the US Chamber of Commerce for the illicit purpose of...um...helping American business? Which prompted the US Chamber's Vice-President, Bruce Josten, to note that the Obama campaign has turned from a campaign of Hope and Change to one of Fear and Smear, which is correct in its premise but wrong on the issue of timing. In fact, Obama's entire Presidency has been built upon attacking any and all things American. Think that's incorrect or a bit much? Think again:

|
WHAT WAS SAID
|
| Chamber of Commerce |
Obama accused the Chamber of Commerce of using foreign money to push its domestic political activism, which would violate election law. Unfortunately, as the Times reports, the White House had absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoing. And Obama failed to mention that plenty of groups on the Left, especially labor unions, raise money outside the US as well. |
| GOP “Pledge to America” |
Obama said many current Republican leaders were the architects of failed economic policies during the presidency of his predecessor George W. Bush: "It is grounded in the same worn out philosophy: cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires; cut the rules for Wall Street and the special interests; and cut the middle class loose to fend for itself. That is not a prescription for a better future. It is an echo of a disastrous decade we cannot afford to relive," he said.

| Bush Policies |
Obama attacked the economic policies of George W. Bush in Bush's home state on as evidence of the way Republicans would operate if given power in Nov. 2 U.S. congressional elections. He defended his repeated references to Bush's policies, saying they were necessary to remind Americans of the weak economy he inherited from Bush in January 2009. |
| Fox News |
The White House called on other news organizations to isolate and alienate Fox News sending out top advisers to rail against the cable channel as a Republican Party mouthpiece. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/10/19/white-house-urges-networks-disregard-fox-news/ |
| House GOP Leader John Boehner |
In a starkly political speech President Obama assailed House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-OH, by name eight times, attacking the Republicans economic philosophy as flawed and weak, attempting to define the choice that people have in November’s election. |
| Public Education |
Obama's attacks teachers through his Race to the Top education policies. Already in NY State and many others, Obama got everything he wanted.
The program contains these key elements: Teachers will be evaluated in relation to their students' test scores. Schools that continue to get low test scores will be closed or turned into charter schools or handed over to private management. In low-performing schools, principals will be fired, and all or half of the staff will be fired. States are encouraged to create many more privately managed charter schools. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/diane-ravitch/obamas-race-to-the-top-wi_b_666598.html |
| Americans for Prosperity |
Obama repeatedly attacked Americans for Prosperity and over 1,500,000 AFP grassroots activists across the nation. |
| US Healthcare |
The bill that President Obama signed is the federal government’s biggest attack on economic inequality since inequality began rising more than three decades ago. |
| Health Insurance Companies |
Obama and his health secretary staged a two-pronged attack in a stern letter to health insurance chief executives and a speech in which the president castigated insurance companies 22 times. "How much higher do premiums have to rise," he demanded, "before we do something about it?" http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/08/AR2010030801703.html |
| Doctors |
Obama offered this example of how doctors make decisions under the current system instead of doing what’s in their patients’ best interests: “Right now, doctors a lot of times are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that's out there. So if they're looking and you come in and you've got a bad sore throat or your child has a bad sore throat or has repeated sore throats, the doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, ‘You know what? I make a lot more money if I take this kid's tonsils out.’” |
| Cops |
Obama answered a question about his friend Henry Louis Gates’s run-in with the Cambridge cops, after acknowledging “not having been there and not seeing all the facts,” by nonetheless asserting that “the Cambridge police acted stupidly.” http://voices.washingtonpost.com/postpartisan/2009/07/obama_attacks_docs_and_cops.html |
| Capitalism |
Obama called belief in capitalism “blind faith.” He said this philosophy of letting people “fend for themselves” has “failed.” He added that “people are frustrated, they’re anxious, they’re scared about the future. [But] now is not the time to quit....We’ve been through worse.... It took time to free the slaves. It took time for women to get the vote.” |
| Supreme Court |
During a State of the Union address , Obama added a few words that had not been in the prepared text. The new preface — “with all due deference to separation of powers” — seemed to acknowledge that he was aiming unusual rhetorical fire at several Supreme Court justices sitting right in front of him. |
| Congressman Hoekstra |
At a grounbreaking of an advanced car battery factory in Holland, Michigan, Obama attacked Republican Rep. Pete Hoekstra (who opposed the stimulus bill and is also a Michigan gubanatorial candidate): “There are some folks who want to go back – who think we should return to the policies that helped to lead to this recession.” Obama said later, “Some made the political calculation that it’s better to obstruct than lend a hand. They said no to the tax cuts, they said no to small business loans, they said no to clean energy projects. It doesn’t stop them from coming to ribbon cuttings — but that’s OK.” |
| Sharron Angle |
At a Las Vegas, Nevada fundraiser for Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid’s campaign for re-election, the president compared Las Vegas residents to those in the Gulf affected by the BP oil spill – whose livelihoods depend on tourism, and attacked Angle’s stance on the spill, saying her answer was to deregulate the oil industry: “Harry’s opponent. . .called the compensation we provided a slush fund,” the president said. “A few hours later, her campaign puts out a memo saying ‘she didn’t say that’… . They said there was some ‘confusion’. I’m sure she meant ‘slush fund’ in the nicest possible way,” he quipped. |
| Israel |
Since the Obama administration has issued stern condemnations of Israel (a long-time US allie) for approving the construction of new settlements in Jerusalem, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called the settlement activity "an insult to the United States," and White House political chief David Axelrod referred to it as "an affront." Israel's Ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, reports that current U.S.-Israeli relations are at a 35-year low. |
| Tea Party |
According to the New York Times, President Obama’s political advisers are considering a national ad campaign that will attempt to convince Americans that Tea Party “radicals” are “taking over” the Republican Party. |
| Big Oil, etc. |
In a series of fundraising speeches for Democratic candidates, Obama stated repeatedly that because of Citizens United, "there are groups with harmless-sounding names like Americans for Prosperity who are running millions of dollars of ads against Democratic candidates, and they don't have to say who exactly the Americans for Prosperity are. You don't know if it's a foreign-controlled corporation. You don't know if it's a big oil company or a big bank." Unfortunately for him, the president's attack gets both the facts and the law wrong |
| BP |
President Obama launched a ferocious attack on BP and the oil industry as what is now officially the worst spill in US history threatened to derail his presidency. Obama cancelled or suspended dozens of offshore drilling projects and condemned a “scandalously close relationship” between oil companies and government regulators. He said: “As far as I’m concerned, BP is responsible for this horrific disaster, and we will hold them fully accountable on behalf of the United States as well as the people and communities victimised by this tragedy. We will demand that they pay every dime they owe for the damage they’ve done and the painful losses that they’ve caused.” |
| State of Arizona |
Obama attacked America by suing Arizona for passing a law that merely reflected federal immigration law. Then the Obama administration included the Arizona state immigration law in a report of human rights abuses to the UN, that collective negation of humanity and home to the worst human rights abusers in the world. |
| Coal Industry |
While campaigning, Barack Obama said that he would put a new “cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else’s out there” if he would become president. Every single person who would want to “build a coal-powered plant” would be able to do so, Obama said, but his new system would “bankrupt them.” |
| Karl Rove |
President Obama attacked Karl Rove and conservative outside organizations claiming that his group and the Chamber of Commerce were bending campaign finance laws. |
| Scott Brown |
Obama said of Scott Brown’s GMC truck: “So look, forget the ads, everybody can’t can slick ads. Forget the truck. Everyone can buy a truck.” Scott Brown later retaliated by saying that, no, in this economy, not everyone can buy a truck, but that he intended to have a hand in changing that. |
| Rush Limbaugh |
Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill that they needed to quit listening to Rush Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the new administration. "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package. (link to New York Post story)
|
| Veterans |
Obama and his administration considered making Veterans use private health care to get treatment for their service-related injuries. Obama discussed the issue with Veteran's groups, declining to remove the proposal from the table as the veterans groups were pleading for. |
| “Bitter Clingers” |
Obama said "the jobs have been gone now for 25 years" in a lot of small towns. They fell through the Clinton administration and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate. And they have not." "And," he concluded, "it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." |
| Christians | |
| Banks |
President Obama revealed a plan to tax the largest banks in America to recoup up to $120 billion of the bailout money doled out over the past year. Catching banking lobbyists flatfooted, the proposal from out of left field is set to hit Congress next month. Most likely, it will be a tax on profits much like the windfall profits tax bandied about during the oil run-up a couple years ago. Alternately, it could be a tax on the loan activity of the largest banks. At a time when banks are being encouraged to loan money to small business, banks are also being scolded by the President for doing so. http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/blog/obama-finally-attacks-the-banks |
| Bill Clinton |
During his campaign, Obama laid much of the blame for America's unfolding credit crisis on the financial deregulation of the 1990s in his hardest hitting attack so far on the economic legacy of Bill Clinton's administration. * List of Obama attacks painstakingly Compiled by Kim Stallings, Conservative Refocus ** This list was a mere pittance from the huge number that Kim actually found.

As one can easily see, the President's central theme has been one of attacking and vilifying virtually any and all things American--a phenomena that has seemingly spread throughout a Congress that begs to be liberated by the people. The President, during his inauguration, actually promised to promote and protect all things pertaining to both America and all of its Citizens, including each State and especially the US Constitution--a promise that has been rebuked and left discarded within the mountains of refuse leftover from his inaugural ceremony.
This leaves us with the ominous and telling final note that Obama has become the posterchild for that which will eventually come to be known as the administration of "The Un-President," along with a Congress that is now known as being most anti-congressional. Which then begs the ultimate question-- that in an America increasingly dogged by an amalgum of problems and increasingly threatened from abroad...
with a President and a Congress like this, who needs enemies?

will he be doing that on our money?
or will he spend his own?
We now own a 9000 page Health Care Plan that nobody read before it was passed. We gave them the keys to the store and now WE THE PEOPLE are being locked out. My question is how can we allow this man to continue to destroy everything that America stands for? Is he being groomed as the leader of NEW WORLD ORDER? A brave new world that will systematically take away all of our personal freedoms and enslave all of us to the will of BIG GOVERNMENT..
Keep working ,great job!
