The special effects have been mind-blowing, the ratings phenomenal and the dire circumstances that planet earth finds itself in could rival even many of the best Sci-fi movies ever made. The story goes something like this: Planet Earth is in the process of being overtaken by a group of mindless automatons bent solely on mayhem and destruction, and they bear a violent allegiance to only one singular mythical entity.
Meanwhile, as the world plunges ever deeper into chaos and hardship, the automatons' greatest enemy is held in a virtual stasis by a hybrid leader unborn from the forging fires of transformational leadership, who, further, can't even seem to establish where his true allegiance lies.
So, is this the new Transformers movie of which the world's young at heart just can't seem to get enough of?
Well, not exactly, but it might as well be, because the heartless Decepticons have gained a powerful grip on many within both America and throughout the world. In fact, the beginning of this article euphemistically describes exactly what is happening on the planet at present. Who needs a movie or even a sensational death trial when you have the drama that is real life death-grinning you in the face?
Indeed, the Messianic Decepticon in Chief had much to say that was beyond revealing very recently, if one did but listen closely. While the President visited his august mechanical presence on various companies and organizations scattered about America, we were visited with a rather startling bit of Presidential trivia from Jon Harn of the John Locke Foundation located right here in good ole' NC. In a story dated July 1st, Harn penned an article aptly titled "The Obama Effect" in which Harn details the fact that a number of companies which President Obama has visited over time have simply vanished from the corporate world, some not to be heard from again. Now this might seem trivial on the face of it, but...then again maybe not, if we explain a bit further.
The Obama Effect
The first company having filed Chapter 11 from Obama's Medusa-like presence was none other than Cardinal Fastener and Specialty Company located in Cleveland, which specialized in, wait for it, wind turbines, heaven help us all, and was visited by Obama back in 2009.
Next was Allentown Metalworks, which the President had visited late in 2009, a manufacturer of heavy steel trusses for the building industry.
Another manufacturer, Cat, a well known industrial equipment builder which Obama had visited back in early 2009 , while not going out of business, recently announced the lay-offs of over 2,400 employees.
Left out of the story were two of the most identifiable business failures, absent mainly due to an almost painful obviousness. Obama had actually visited General Motors well before its nexus of problems and eventual takeover, in June of 2008, during a campaign stop...Hmm. Even better? In May of 2008 Obama also visited The Chrysler stamping plant in Sterling, Michigan, and we all know what happened to Chrysler. ALSO, according to Harn, even an Ohio restaurant that Obama merely mentioned recently went out of business after having been in operation for over seventy plenteous years.

After this bit of information truly gets out, I can see the future spectacle of a Presidential company visit, employees scurrying away, screaming, and companies bolting the doors whenever Obamazilla comes lumbering over the hillside, loudly spewing Liberal talking points like fiery, gaseous flames. Spreading destruction wherever the impact tremor of his tread falls, never failing to smash into that coal-fired electrical plant, geysers of sparks accompanying each and every encounter. Kind of like the President's Democratic get out the vote campaign of 2010, in fact.
Now, this all may seem circumstantial on the face of it, and yet one must take a look at the odds to consider what is actually happening. Remember that Obama may have visited no more than 250 companies during his entire term, and yet when we note the fact that there are more than 27 million small business firms in the US, one can begin to see the staggering odds at play as to whether or not Obama's various appearances can often result in either Chapter 11 or severe layoffs.
The Transformers: Weighing Manure And Hope

We would do well to also remember that this Obama Effect, also known as Obamanomics, has certainly not been limited to just the few companies that Obama has visited. In fact, the effect of Obama and the Democrats' incessant meddling propensities could easily be likened to the deadly storms that have plagued America during the latest weather cycle, as thousands upon thousands of businesses have shuttered and jobs have been lost not to be meaningfully regained. But, as unfortunate as all of this is, there may be many more closings. The recent news was even more depressing when we were given to understand that America's stagflation under Obamanomics appears to be worsening (while under supposed recovery) as hiring has dropped and unemployment even increased in the month of June. Obama's measured response? Check out this gem:
"I always expected to be judged not by the promises I made, but by the promises I kept."
Um...so, what exactly does that mean, Mr. President?
Coming from Obama, it sounds almost like an apology, but we are fairly certain that he must be referring to "Change we can believe in," and we are even more certain that the First Lady is beyond hopeful as to the latter part of her husband's words, rather than the former, when it comes to his promises. Yet, is it me or should a President be expected to keep each and every one of the promises made while in office, never mind in one's personal life? In truth, when it comes to promises from Politico's, my personal observations go something like this:
"A sprinkling of promise on one's hopes is far less effective than a sprinkling of manure on one's garden."
Lessons In Demagoguery
But this then brings us to the now extreme demagoguery that has been going on in Washington from our clever Decepticon leadership for almost three long years now. When we use the term demagogue, which has frequently been misused of late, we should note what, exactly, demagogue actually means:
"A leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power."
Indeed, and who else does this not fit more perfectly than the entire Democratic Party, or should that be "Demagogic Party?" In fact the word demagogue originally hails from the Greek word demagogos meaning "popular leader," but it can also mean "leader of the mob."...Saints preserve us all.
In that vein, a recent news release alluded to the latest demagogic power play by the White House in which we were warned that the Obama administration intends to turret its leering Statist gaze upon gun safety. The Obama Administration is preaching to us about gun safety of all things? Ironic, in that this is the same White House in which over $ 50 million in stimulus funds were spent on an operation called The Fast and Furious Guns Project where US agents transported thousands of high-powered military weapons into the hands of Mexican Drug Cartel Kingpins in order to... maybe see who gets them.

No doubt, culminating in a protracted effort at hands-on gun safety practice, innocently instigated upon live civilian targets for Mexico's lawless. In effect, an unsupervised effort at foreign national on-the-job military arms training, sponsored by the Messianic Mangler himself. That would be one very original, if not heinous, way to take care of the border control problem, no doubt. In Mexico, we can even now hear the Mexican Government pleading "no mas, no mas," as the Decepticon Administration's trail of overall destruction and mayhem both widens and lengthens across the planet.
Only one US Drug enforcement agent has been killed by the guns, as far as we know, by the way, no word on Mexican deaths, perhaps mercifully.
But this then leads us into a veritable orgy of demagoguery that is in play from the Democratic Party across a wide assortment of fronts. We have the President and his Democratic minions delivering a withering argument against the Republicans with regard to the corporate jet tax loophole, for instance. The only problem being that is was the Democrats who actually sponsored and then solely voted for and passed the corporate jet tax loophole in the first place.
Um..Mom, Can You Find My Loophole?
The corporate jet tax loophole was, in fact, part of the President's 2009 stimulus plan and was unanimously voted on by the Democrats. You just can't make this stuff up. But the Decepticons didn't stop there, oh no, in fact, they were just getting started. We are now also given to understand that the Democrats will be running their 2012 election campaign on saving Medicare, despite the fact that these Liberal Decepticons were the same legislators who actually slashed over $ 500 Billion from our Senior's Medicare in favor of Obamacare in the first place. So while the disingenuous demagoguery continues across all fronts, the Decepticons will continue their blather right up to the point that America is on the brink of failure, which brings us then to the Debt Ceiling.
In a recent article written by Stephen Hayes called Obama versus Obama, we were reminded by Hayes that Obama's current stance on wishing to raise taxes during a recession as part of a Debt Ceiling deal is not at all the same position Obama held in both 2009 and 2010. In 2009 during an interview, Obama stated "raising taxes during a recession is a bad idea." In 2010, Obama made essentially the same argument when he signed a bill that would continue the Bush tax rates. In his address that followed, Obama stated that "an increase in taxes would have been a blow to our economy just as we are climbing out of a recession."

Now, since nothing with regard to the economy, the debt or our spending has changed, then why has our Decepticon Leader's position mysteriously changed? Demagogos is the answer.
The President actually came out blaming everyone but himself for the debt ceiling issue that comes prepackaged with all sorts of ramifications. Obama even unwittingly compared his inability to pass a budget and solve the debt ceiling debacle as being the same as the possibility of his daughter's last minute scurrying to complete a homework assignment the night before. Now, to me, this particular comparison brings up all sorts of Freudian overtures. Remember, Obama is an Academian. Academians typically dwell in the land of theory, and a child's missed homework assignment, in my world, simply does not pass the smell-test of being compared to the largest economy in the world's massive debt and possible default.
But it does in Obama's world, and therein lies the problem, ladies and gentlemen. While many still refer to Obama as being the brilliant one, it is almost as if the President, somehow, did not see this painfully obvious problem coming. If he had, he would have at least made some sort of preparations to deal with the issue beyond empty rhetoric. But blaming others for the problems that Obama himself has authored by virtue of his incredible amounts of spending and obscene negligence has become almost expected, at this point.
But even while the Democratically controlled Senate and the President have rejected the House's budget for the upcoming fiscal year, while failing to even come up with a budget for the previous fiscal year, the Decepticons will rant at the Conservatives and Republicans as being largely culpable for the entire impasse. Meanwhile, the disinformation increases from the Media at an alarming pace, while trying to affix a smiley face on this turdle of a problem at every turn.
Forcibly Spreading Wealth Equals Distributional Poverty

When the Government takes in about $2.2 trillion dollars and is spending out about $3.6 trillion dollars, the words measured increases and decreases simply have no place within the argument. The simple fact remains that if we were to effectively double the tax rate on every business and individual in the US, we would still be running a deficit of about $ 100 billions dollars per year.
Once again, even if we were to double the taxation on every single individual and business within the US, we would still be running a spending deficit of over $ 100 billion per year. Therefore, common sense dictates that revenue increases would prove inadequate no matter how much we tried to increase them due directly to the humongous amount of spending that the Government has undertaken. Could you realistically afford to pay double the taxes which you are paying now? Would that even be enough?
Our National debt from Treasury Bonds is currently at about $ 14.354 trillion and is rising fast, to the tune of almost$ 4 billion per day. Any measure that does not lower spending considerably will increase that debt even further. Republican Leaders Boehner and McConnell have already virtually given up on massively decreasing spending, at this juncture, due to Obama and the Democrats' demands to raise taxes. Therefore, any solution will be nothing more than an overall pin-prick--and our economy will continue to sag as Government continues to spew waste, excrementally.
The problem, once again, is simply that no amount of tax increases will even come close to solving current massive spending problems, never mind the long-term debt issues. An even deeper problem is the fact that not even the most perspicacious of individuals will often have the ability to see the improbabilities of trying to fix this problem by virtue of a tax increase. Preferring instead to play politics with the issue, while denying what has become obscenely obvious to many others, seems to be the plan of the day, as I have personally witnessed time and time again.
When Change Transforms into Destruction
It would seem that change we can believe in has now transformed and polarized this nation in ways that no one could have completely foreseen.
The simple fact is that the issue is no longer so much about politics as it is about preserving America's fundamental way of economic life, prosperity and sovereign power for all who are willing. Perhaps the ones who accept the fatal spending attraction and even higher taxation fully desire a de-evolving lifestyle, poverty and even less potential success and happiness for their children, who knows? The Liberal version of toughlove, it would seem, is being forged only to be reviled by their rebellious conservative offspring in the future, because the worm of rebelliousness always turns at some point and in varying degrees.

To sum up the ultimate point of the Tranformer's movie, the Government and even many members of the Civil Society had grown both lax and unvigilant to the point of actually turning on the one group of dedicated individuals who knew how to both defeat and vanquish the dire ravages of the evil Decepticons for good, or at least until they find some new way to arise once again under a litany of false premises. I won't give away the ending.
Sound familiar?
