Simply fascinating!
The President appears to be talking out of both sides of his mouth. On the one hand, Obama's campaign has jettisoned its efforts to attract what is the core of America, by abandoning the White, middle class workers and a majority of Americans, and that's according to the White House itself.
On the other hand, the President has, in the downward spiral of his term, fed the fires of class warfare while drowning the US in a sea of outrageous debt and crony capitalism ploys in order to attract a small percentage of his base back into the fold while filling both the treasuries of his campaign and those of his supporters.
Below is the story that set my blood to boiling....
by Joel Gehrke Commentary Staff Writer, Washington Examiner
President Obama believes that Republican leadership of the country would ruin the United States as a land of opportunity, but he's (justifiably) confident that his daughters will have plenty of opportunities, no matter what.
"Our kids are going to be fine," Obama told supporters at a campaign event last night. "And I always tell Malia and Sasha, look, you guys, I don't worry about you . . . they’re on a path that is going to be successful, even if the country as a whole is not successful. But that’s not our vision of America. I don't want an America where my kids are living behind walls and gates, and can’t feel a part of a country that is giving everybody a shot."
It is good to be the president. End Examiner Article
Now, the President thinks to communicate an attitude that clearly exemplifies the elitist class by stating that his daughters will have opportunities, even if many in America do not. Obama actually puts forth the statement of anti-hope that America may not be successful yet, even while essentially boasting that his own daughters will be fine due to his lavish self-serving efforts and much at the expense of us all who are now paying what we can ill-afford (which should be read as "my daughters are the important thing, to hell with the rest of the US.")
This man in Obama, clearly, has no conceptual idea of what the office of the Presidency actually means, nor does he even begin to understand the concept of duty to one's country under that, the most demanding and the most sacred of all positions, as leader of the free world and principle executive of the United States.
The President then describes his vision of America, which seems wrapped within the portents of the apocalypse itself, when he speaks of "living behind walls and gates." Interesting, it is, that Obama fails to see his own very operative role in the temporarily great demise, but even worse, that he once again splits the Presidency off from administering to the other political 2/3rd's of the country, especially when he speaks of the Republicans as essentially ruining the nation.
Is it any wonder that a battered and bruised America is being seen as faltering the world over?
A message of "NOPE" is what this President consistently offers, which is quickly becoming the final answer that the American people will have for him, come November 2012.
But in that answer, rather ironically, also lies America's greatest solution for all that ails her in the Emperor of all ills.
