Conservative Refocus: Change We Can Believe In American Style

Well, when we started the Conservative Refocus organization about three years ago, there was much that we hadn't quite figured on. First, we didn't realize how hungry the world was to read wide stretches of analytical Conservative sarcasm mixed heavily with truth. We knew there was an appetite in the US, but we never figured on having an international ear. Second, we didn't really figure on how much of an impact just a few dedicated people can have on the conversation; however, if one but decides to stand up and speak out honestly and without utilizing PC, people will tend to listen, or at least read, as the case may be.
Last but not least, we never, ever figured on how time consuming this would be. I have actually decided to sell one smaller company that I own, simply because I can't juggle all of these things at once, and quite frankly, this is one battle we cannot afford to lose, my friends. America needs all of the help She can get right now.
But lately, also, we have been hit with yet another curve ball that we didn't quite expect. You see, the website has become so overloaded with traffic, even after the last big upgrade of about two months ago, our host has indicated that, unless we don't mind knocking out entire powerblocks of other websites, as happened the other night, we are going to have to migrate to a dedicated server.
Dedicated? Yep, the VPS (virtual Private Server), despite packing lots of space and power, still shares resources with other sites, and the massive spikes we routinely see has a way of completely draining the resources of other sites and taking all of us down, and we simply can't have that. Besides, when I or Kim or another contributor decides to sit down and write, the website is now, almost routinely, giving us "try again later, too busy right now" messages. That simply will not do; something must be done.

The other side of this argument is the news archive. We have, so far, kept all of the stories and coverage from a wide cross-section of mainstream media stories, many of them tempered by our opinions, wide open and fairly easy to find. Most media websites archive their stories in difficult to find places, or delete old stories completely. We felt it important to keep those resources available; they tell the entire story, you see, and all in one place.
So over the next 36 to 72 hours, those who visit regularly may see "site unavailable" messages as the migration occurs in realtime. This, despite having a fully completed column in the muzzle that's both loaded and ready to fire; we have been told that it might be wise to wait until the migration to the dedicated server is complete for any major publishing efforts. The next article takes a rather humorous, if not dour look at the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare. As in most cases, we don't pull any punches and even my iPhone's Siri gets to play her part in the article.
So, once all of this is complete, we will have about 10 Terabytes of bandwidth to play with, along with some other special offers which we can now make available to our readers and friends with a massive dedicated server.

We thank you for your continued visits and support, and we hope this allows us to be ready for the "Battle for America" culminating in the November 2012 election. But make no mistake, now is the time for we Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, Independents and not even a few Conservative Democrats, to surge and to do so meaningfully.
As Benjamin Franklin so aptly stated at the signing of the Declaration:
We must all now hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.
Thanks so much and God Bless,
