Indeed, it's according to which plan El Magnifico is referring to.

If Obama's plan is to get government out of the way and get as many Americans back to work as possible, while working towards eliminating the debt, then the President is clearly, by every indicator available, not only wrong, but he is also lying copiously.

However, if Obama's plan is to cripple the US economy to the point that government debt is vacuuming equity out of the private sector, obliterating our bond rating, making America, as an investment, appear risky at best, or going over one thousand days without planning any sort of budget or spending criteria to install some form of discipline into US spending, then the President's plan is working quite famously.

In fact, the other side of this latter, more nefarious plan, which is working so well, appears to include the President's unparalleled ability to spend so much borrowed money, and create so many demands, that America must buy up its own debt simply because no one else will. Which then leaves the Treasury lessened in future spending power, while also placing every individual possible on some form of government payout, creating so much demand on the system that the system simply crashes in upon itself in one massive exhausted heap.

Which then could, theoretically, leave our leadership in a position to recraft all sorts of laws and forceful edicts under pain of crisis management and control, effecting massive and wholesale transformation into what has already been labeled as "Change we can believe in."

Remember what the President said almost four years ago?
