Sorry Charlie, Tricks are for Kids: A Rebuttal to Krauthammer's 'Anti-Rand' Drone Response

Conservative Refocus By Barry Secrest
I know, I know, how dare I question the Conservative's Conservative Charles Krauthammer?
He, the winnowed champion of the more or less conservative plight of whom I was delightedly first reading while cruising about the Atlantic Ocean aboard a US Navy destroyer, only a scant couple of years after graduating high school, still wet behind the ears, as they say.
But it's not like this would be the first time.
Krauthammer, aside from Limbaugh and the mostly culpable antics of Barack Obama and Paul Krugman were perhaps, something of a semi-inspirational catalyst in getting me involved in doing precisely what I am doing right now, on my keyboard. Well, there was that one other rather crazy thing, but we won't go into that.
Yet here I sit, enigmatically compelled to spend another beautiful, late afternoon, weekend day musing in front of my esteemed ViewSonic flat panel. While others are enjoying the first glimmerings of Spring, some playing golf, others gardening , some few other younglings, maybe even, getting a first-time shot at flying their pre-emergent beginner's level surveillance drone--bathed in the aroma of just-out-of-the-box neoprene and glowfuel --and here I perch meaningfully morphing into a semi-active flat-panel potato.
So, why do I dare call the inimitable Sir Charles out, especially when we're supposed to be one big, happy, Conservative Fleet? Hey, he started it, by nothing less than a series of blatant attacks on Conservatives, to include Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Ted Cruz, among a host of others in recent history.
Here, Krauthammer acidly attacks Rand Paul:
Below, from the Daily Caller, is Krauthammer's attack on Cruz:
“Well look, I am grateful he raised this issue, because I think we have reached a point in the country where we are sick and tired of the way the administration is going around blowing people to kingdom come while sitting in their living rooms
because of a suspicion — I’m talking about Americans,” Krauthammer said. “Just last week, my neighbor was blown away during a chicken barbecue by his pool.”
So, all of this invariably involves Krauthammer's meandering off on one of his brief but consistent sojourns into 'The Land of the Elections Lost' wing of the Republican Party. You see, while Krauthammer enjoys the deification of most who reside on the Right-Wing of American politics, and even not a few on the Left, he also spends much of his time sautéed within the languorous vicissitudes of the inner-Beltway, leaving at least some modicum of his collective faculties emulsifyingly diminished from the other real world in which most of us reside.

To that end, it was his recent opinion piece at the Washington Post, titled Codify the Drone War, which set my comparatively raw conservative angst on edge.
Krauthammer begins by stating the following, in his veiled piece:
In choice of both topic and foil, Rand Paul’s now legendary Senate filibuster was a stroke of political genius. The topic was, ostensibly, very narrow: Does the president have the constitutional authority to put a drone-launched Hellfire missile through your kitchen — you, a good citizen of Topeka to whom POTUS might have taken a dislike — while you’re cooking up a pot roast?
The constituency of those who could not give this question a straight answer is exceedingly small. Unfortunately, among them is Attorney General Eric Holder. Enter the foil. He told a Senate hearing that such an execution would not be “appropriate.”
So, what's wrong with these ideas? Nothing, Sen. Rand Paul, not unlike his Father, does exhibit undeniable traits of political genius, if not courage, something that the Moderates within the Party of we're-now-not-really-sure can only marvel at, to be certain.

But Krauthammer's use of the word genius shades into something just a bit more insidious as his wordplay stretches out. To say that Eric Holder told the Senate hearing that (drone) "executions would not be appropriate," leaves out several facts more than worthy of note.
The first worthy fact being that the direct questioner of the Attorney General, before Sen. Paul's filibuster, was none other than highly Conservative, emerging leader, Sen. Ted Cruz. This, despite not a few other Neo-Republicans effectively pish-poshing Cruz's questionings, both in private and later in public, subsuming Charles Krauthammer, as it turns out. Cruz, it should be side-noted, increasingly presents much like a relentless Conservative Jedi, able to intimidate even wizened old Senators such as veteran Liberal Senator Diane Feinstein., a thing not so easily accomplished, truth be told.

The second fact, to continue, being that Holder was clearly evading the drone questions, both verbal and written, domestic and foreign, with every fabric of his non-littoral being, and for quite some time prior to all of this. A thing that Krauthammer also chooses to omit in his column, despite an oft exhibited better judgment to the contrary.
Now, why do you suppose that is?
However, it's what follows that confounds, with regard to Krauthammer, do read on:
Appropriate being a bureaucratic word meaning nothing, Holder’s answer was a PR disaster. The correct response, of course, is: Absent an active civil war on U.S. soil (of the kind not seen in 150 years) or a jihadist invasion from Saskatchewan led by the Topeka pot roaster, the answer is no.
The hypothetical being inconceivable, Paul’s performance was both theatrically brilliant and substantively irrelevant. As for the principle at stake, Holder’s opinion carries no weight in any case. He is hardly a great attorney general whose words will ring through history. Nor would anything any attorney general says be binding on the next president, or for that matter on any Congress or court.
Hypothetically inconceivable? Substantively irrelevant, Charles?
Indeed, successfully pinning the Obama Regime on their intransigent, non-vector, approach with regard to assassinating American citizens on US soil can hardly be considered irrelevant, in light of all that we've seen over the past four years. Further, Krauthammer's words hypothetically inconceivable belie the historical facts in earnest, especially when we consider that only five years before Krauthammer's US birth in 1950 to migrant European Jewish parents, Hitler's death camps were being discovered dotting the landscape all over northern Europe.

Were not the Jewish Extermination Camps also hypothetically inconceivable to anyone who learned of their existence Mr. Krauthammer? Or, might the point made here also be considered substantively irrelevant as well? Perhaps Krauthammer should have majored more in history and less in psychiatry in order to understand the repetitive natures of human history, as he seems to be exhibiting the it can't happen here mentality which many other Americans exhibit.
The simple fact is that Democide in the 20th century became the number one cause of unnatural deaths for the first time in recorded history, to the tune of over 200 million people, and that is certainly not irrelevant, but rather goes to the heart of Sen. Paul Rand's filibuster.
But, Krauthammer's progression, rather than methodically smoothing the angle of his blade becomes even more razor-like:
The vexing and pressing issue is the use of drones abroad. The filibuster pretended not to be about that. Which is testimony to Paul’s political adroitness. It was not until two days later that he showed his hand, writing in The Post, “No American should be killed by a drone without first being charged with a crime.” Note the absence of the restrictive clause: “on American soil.”
No, Charles, you, Sir, are just as wrong here as you were about the Fiscal Cliff, The Tea Party in 2010, and the Debt limit in 2011, although you did get the Sequester cuts right in 2012, unlike many within the mushy quasi-moderated class. Rand Paul was simply establishing, within writ, the fact that an American going on vacation abroad, should not be qualified for extermination simply because he or she is abroad and no longer immediately subject to current group-think ethos within the confines of the inner beltway and outside of the US Constitution. Egad, Krauthammer! Are you not familiar with any of the more Conservative outlets within the media?
Apparently not, Krauthammer continues:
Now we’re talking about a larger, more controversial issue: the killing-by-drone in Yemen of al-Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki. Outside American soil, the Constitution does not rule, no matter how much Paul would like it to. Yet Paul’s unease applies to non-American drone targets as well. His quarrel is with the very notion of the war on terror, though he is normally too smart to say that openly and unequivocally. Unlike his father, who implied that 9/11 was payback for our sins, Paul the Younger more gingerly expresses general skepticism about not just the efficacy but the legality of the entire war.
So then, according to Krauthammer, just as the US Government sets up Guantanamo Bay as an offshore military facility operatively not subject to the US Constitution as befits prisoners, then any American citizen wrenched off of American soil, either voluntarily or otherwise, is thereby automatically subject to absolutely no protections whatsoever under the US Constitution?

I can see it even now, a massive investment in the cruise ship industry by Obama's US Government for the ostensible purposes of providing its dissenting citizens a well-needed, low-cost, vacation away from the American shore, and then some. Outside of the massive MRAP and Bullet purchases, don't be surprised when Obama starts buying non-military cruise ships for DHS conveyance.
A US citizen's rights as a US citizen, as treated by the US Constitution, do not end at the shore's hallowed edge, Mr. Krauthammer, just read the US tax code with regard to citizens living abroad if you be in doubt. Please show us where they do end as well, if you be so kind, and if you remain in disagreement on this point. Now maybe it is different when a citizen ostensibly declares war on the US. However, this particular point has not been in evidence by the White House thus far, which seems to artfully specialize in warping US law to their own ends.
But what Krauthammer fails to mention, in his frequently veiled and sometimes outright attacks on full-blooded Conservative elected officials if not others, are the facts surrounding the drone worries, which the US mainstream media has largely ignored. It was a document revealed in early 2009, which was written by the US Department of Homeland Security, which proved more than enough to raise alarms as to who, exactly, might be considered a threat to US Security aka terrorists.

The report, titled below, is provided with a link:
The Federal Government document specifically indicated "Right-Wing Extremists" and "those opposed to abortion and illegal immigration" as possible terrorist subjects. In fact, before Secretary Napolitano was forced to redact the report, which identified approximately 60% of the entire US Civil Society as possible terrorists, Napolitano repeatedly defended the report as being accurate.
So, this is at least in part, why uproar has been growing over exactly who the Obama Regime might consider as a threat to the US Government. Did, perhaps, Krauthammer completely forget about this damning document with regard to the domestic terrorist connection attached to death by drone?
The other side of this story speaks to the fact that this particular story which was re-ignited by a February white paper uncovered by NBC's Michael Isikoff, which was from the DOJ , and which did not seem to clearly speak to foreign threats in other lands, only, but rather on a global battleground basis. So, while Krauthammer may view an all-powerful centralized opposition government as his cuddly Teddy Bear du jour, truly critical thinkers, even on the Left-Wing side, are not always so trusting, and herein lies the rub.
Indeed and even for God's sake, listen to Liberal Extraordinaire Oliver Stone who describes both Obama and his government as being "scary" in this YouTube clip:
You know we're in big trouble as a country, when a Liberal Hollywood film maker has a more cautious stance on big government and its machinations, than a Mainstream Conservative opinionist, for heaven's sake.
Krauthammer, here, in his column, now retreats to much safer ground:
That skepticism is finding an audience as the war grinds into its 12th year, as our hapless attorney general vainly tries to define its terms and as the administration conducts a major drone war with defiant secrecy. Nor is this some minor adjunct to battle — an estimated 4,700 have been killed by drone.
And here again , as prefaced by Krauthammer, our President shows a strident streak of viciousness towards the paltry individual class while engendering a continually remarkable dispensation at catering to any sort of identifiable group, even if such group be an enemy to the state. Maybe it's just in the guy's blood, to pander to the groups or the masses, undistinguished, sans Conservatives, who knows? However, this singular mindset threads its way through the President's entire agenda, be it Domestic or Foreign.
Now why, exactly, might that be?
Moving on, Krauthammer correctly brings up both the political Lefts' and Obama's enigmatic waterboarding- bad, execution -good, dilemma:
George W. Bush was excoriated for waterboarding exactly three terrorists, all of whom are now enjoying an extensive retirement on a sunny Caribbean island (though strolls beyond Gitmo’s gates are prohibited). Whereas President Obama, with thousands of kills to his name, evokes little protest from yesterday’s touch-not-a-hair-on-their-head zealots. Of whom, of course, Sen. Obama was a leading propagandist.
No argument here:
Such hypocrisy is the homage Democrats pay to Republicans when the former take office, confront national security reality, feel the weight of their duty to protect the nation — and end up doing almost everything they had denounced their predecessors for doing. The beauty of such hypocrisy, however, is that the rotation of power creates a natural bipartisan consensus on the proper conduct of this war.
But even while both the Left and Obama vilify the past war effort as the reasons for our pre-Obama deficit. Unfortunately, there is no true beauty with this nefarious architecture as nurtured by an increasingly obtuse media and its hallowed mainstream opinionists. The semi-complexities, as evidenced by the low-info voters who think voting for a President is the same as texting a winner into American Idol, seems mostly lost even while the MSM continually fails in its normal role as a hypocrisy exhibitionist.

When, in fact, exemplifying hypocrisy, however, might that same mindset also reside in Krauthammer's own camp, when throughout Obama's administration, Krauthammer has repeatedly waxed emphatic over the smartness of Obama? Our stance on the matter is quite simple. If indeed Obama is such a powerful and all-wise brainiac, then does this not make Krauthammer less-than-smart, because he never, ever, agrees with the man? Smart leadership solves problems, and certainly doesn't needlessly exacerbate them, no matter what the ideology. So here also, most Conservatives would choose to diverge from Krauthammer's ideas on what we might call Obama's singular wit in politics.
More Krauthammer:
Which creates a unique opportunity to finally codify the rules. The war’s constitutional charter, the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), has proved quite serviceable. But the commander-in-chief’s authority is so broad — it leaves the limits of his power to be determined, often in secret memos, by the administration’s own in-house lawyers — that it has spawned suspicion, fear and now filibuster.
It is time to rethink. That means not repealing the original AUMF but, using the lessons of the past 12 years, rewriting it with particular attention to a new code governing drone warfare and the question of where, when and against whom it should be permitted.
Here, Krauthammer also falls squarely within most Conservative circles, although we cannot fail to note that while Krauthammer essentially accused Rand Paul for his filibustering on the one hand, Krauthammer now seems to be in total agreement with Paul's impetus now, but only in regard to drone use abroad, with the domestic use question thrown out altogether, as ridiculous, when in fact, it's anything but.
Krauthammer:
Necessity having led the Bush and Obama administrations to the use of near-identical weapons and tactics, a national consensus has been forged. Let’s make it open. All we need now is a president willing to lead and a Congress willing to take responsibility for the conduct of a war that, however much Paul and his acolytes may wish it away, will long be with us.
A war that will long be with us? If Krauthammer is assessing the past and future conflict with Islamic fundamentalism, that which is now called terrorism, then he is right and in spades. However, if Krauthammer is assessing our ongoing presence as overall post-antagonist to the Middle East, then maybe not. This adminstration, like it or not, after leading from behind is now withdrawing from behind, especially with regard to the war on terrorism. Drone, strikes by and large ,are nothing much more than a half-measure which will probably only serve to further irritate the prophetic beast that may soon be upon us all.
Nevermind the Obama administration's refueling the Muslim Brotherhood with a panoply of US arms considered the best in the world, along with a $250 million dollar allowance for a pre-teen Egyptian dictatorship, which Krauthammer largely supports.

Krauthammer's speciality, it would seem these days, seems to be largely in 'Picking up a turd by the clean end,' if you get my drift.
But to take the argument to its logical conclusion in making this cadre of points, Krauthammer's ideas while often laudable, seem increasingly more often than not as being loosely stapled to the back of a Neo-Moderate movement that can and certainly will only fail, in the long run. It's those who have not yet forged their thoughts in the fires of true Conservatism, who stand to lose the most by allowing Krauthammer's conservatively diluted ideas of Moderate Utopianism to subtly warp their critical thinking skills.
In essence, Krauthammer's vaunted stance among an increasingly polarized Conservative America is much more trick than treat , especially to the Grassroots Tea Party movement if not others, in which he shows nothing if not stealthy disdain.
As viewed by Heartland Americans , Krauthammer, now, seems more to want to ride the dangerous beast of his gainful preoccupation out, while prayerfully admiring its terrifying aspect, rather than to finally put it to pasture, or worse.

The Mothman Presidency: Top Ten Most Disastrous Effects of Obama's Lurking Sequester Apocalypse
Published on March 10th, 2013 @ 06:10:27 pm , using 3620 words

Conservative Refocus
By Barry Secrest
The White House authored budget sequester cuts, as set forth by a petrified media and denying President, are now upon us all, and woe be unto anyone who doubts there extraordinarily well-prophesied ill effects.
In fact, the utter horribleness as repeatedly described by Obama, after returning from his pre-disaster Tiger-golf vacate, has finally come to pass. Even the weeks leading up to the moribund sequester cuts would see a spider web of nightmarish episodes in sequesterial badness already beginning to infect a decidedly restive world, well, with the possible exception of Egypt, of course.

Indeed, like the mythical Mothman who mysteriously pre-appears as a terrifying paranormal harbinger of unspecified chaos to come, the President has been flying all over the US in an effort to both frighten and herald the disastrous effects of what he, himself, has stealthily engineered in placing the cuts into motion.
And terrify he has, with each chilling appearance, eyes aglow with unshrouded malice towards the spending cut thingy that should never be named, at least not in Regime circles, Obama has left a terrified gaggle of low-info devotees quaking in his wake.
No one could have earlier known what might happen as a result of the US government's being denied $ 85 billion in funding, although the actual figure is closer to half of that, making the total a whopping $ 44 billion splinter of denied funding out of an estimated $ 3.8 trillion in government outlays for 2013.
Overall, it was an amount that would take a behe-moth bite out of the Obama Regime government spending to the tune of a horrifying 1.2%.

Oh, the utter maelstrom of misery that would strike both now and repeatedly in the future which left much of the world quaking in abject terror, the President even had to shut down White House tours.
Below is Mothman Obama's dire warning of the plagues that were to come as a result of his own sequester cut idea:
But these examples of sequestered chaos were just the beginning. We have found other events associated with the sequester apocalypse and documented the effects thus far.... and they ain't pretty.....
#10- US Budget Sequester Causes Holy Roman Catholic Pope to Resign
Many had speculated over the Pope's shocking and sudden resignation.
Some have indicated that it was due to some silly gay schism between factions within the Vatican, others have stated that the Pope is simply tired and in ill-health, and yet that didn't stop Dick Cheney for 30 years. So, why the sudden resignation from one of the most vaunted political leadership posts on the planet? Indeed, if we use the same type of prognostication 'cause and effect' techniques as Left-wing, brainiac economist, Paul Krugman, the answer is both easy and quite simple to divine.

The Pope, it seems clear, has resigned due to the budget sequester cuts simply because these two major events occurred only within only a few days apart in history. It's the only answer that works because of the mythically religious associations, the actual network connections between these two events might never be completely known, short of a rarely approved visit to the Vatican's Lux in Arcana.

Yet, there is also that concerted Obama attack on the Catholic Church via birth control by the Mothman in Chief. Perhaps the Pope knew that Obama's terrible tantrum represented by the budget sequester, could be easily redirected towards the church, in a fit of papal misogyny, thereby forcing the Pope to prematurely step down in a sort of PTCD (Pope-traumatic Catholic disorder) reaction.
To be certain, the lightning bolt which struck the dome of the Basilica just when the sequester cuts were affirmed, and while the Pope simultaneously resigned, should send chills down any alert Mothman-watcher's spine.

#9-Nascar Fence Gives Way as a result of Budget sequester Cuts, 26 Fans injured
Obama himself has stated that these US budget cuts will cause public safety to be increasingly at risk, and due to the many government agencies which had already begun laying-off well prior to the actual cuts in funding, the answer to the mystery of the racecar's flying disintegration debris becomes easy.
But how, one might ask? Elementary...
We all know that the US government owns a substantial stake in General Motors, and General Motors is the parent company for Chevrolet, and Chevroleti is the brand of team car driven by Daytona fence-mangler Kyle Larsen, who is, by the way, of Japanese ancestry. The budget sequestration cuts have already motivated Team Obama to cut high-profile jobs in the most sensitive areas possible, as must be expected.

It therefore stands to reason that GM and, by default, Chevrolet's quality would be directly affected, which is why Larsen's Chevy's race car unexpectedly disintegrated when coming into contact with the racing fence, sending misanthropic missiles careening madly into a mostly Southern Baptist Nascar fan crowd as they bitterly clinged to their guns, and religion as if there were no tomorrow.
There nearly wasn't.
The fact that America bombed both Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan in WW2, and the fact that Larsen's grandparents were inducted into a Japanese internment camp is but sauce for the gander. But the most bizarre fact? Larsen drove car number 32, and surely you know who the 32nd US President was?

Franklin D. Roosevelt, quasi-American Lib dictator, and the man who ordered the Japanese internments...while also paving the way for the Japanese nuclear bomb attacks. Ya just can't make this stuff up.
Oh, and by the way, car #32's lead sponsor? Special Operations for America.....

#8-Sequester Cuts Cause President Obama to Lose Both Jedi and Vulcan Powers
Many the world over have been unwillingly hypnotized by President Obama's vaunted supernatural ability at Jedi mind-tricking his audience-victims into either voting for or believing in virtually anything the President requests or says. In fact, one of Obama's greatest meld-victories, second to his re-election, was his rather amazing feat in the passage of a law that would subject his constituents to both death panels and an outrageously expensive department of motor vehicle style of healthcare delivery, which to this day induces follower-victims into brief bouts of teary-eyed, hypoxianted applause.
However, in a recent press conference the President admitted that the sequestration cuts, which he both originated and signed into law, had precipitated an unexpected response. The President, in effect, admitted that his powers have apparently faded, somehow, as a result of the budget sequester cuts.
Below was the President's shocking admission:
"I should somehow do a Jedi mind-meld with these folks and convince them to do what's right." But that's not how things work"
Did not the President mean 'that's not how things work, [anymore]?' Or was Obama simply stating that his Jedi-Vulcan abilities do not work in such a fashion? Some are now speculating that Obama's admission could point to explaining the lack of a credible birth certificate.

To explain, Obama fans now indicate that the documentation might be traced to the Romulan miner destruction of the planet Vulcan, where Obama's birth certificate was vaulted in the hall of souls, in an alternative timeline. Others have insisted that the President's birth certificate was probably lost when the Sith Lord's Death Star was destroyed by Rebels while orbiting the ice planet Hoth.

But what if Mothman Obama has simply emerged from his cocoon with beguilement powers that are even more astonishing than before? "Shiver."

#7-Mysterious Booms Occur in Arizona due to Obama Sequester Cuts
Terrified city dwellers in Tucson, Arizona were aroused from sleep, recently, by a series of very loud and utterly unexplainable booming noises. The noises, which have occurred in various regions across the planet, are quite disturbing but also seem to run in a distinct pattern. Indeed, the eerily ethereal booming noises cropped up shortly after the financial meltdown of 2008, say experts.
But why?
Some have propelled a theory forward that this may have something to do with aliens living among us, who are also redistibutionally supported by the US government. Indeed, the sequestration cuts zeroed in on the US military unlike any other budgetary area, and the military funds all sorts of nefarious DARPA projects. Some scientia-fictio experts indicate that military cuts may have hit these undocumented aliens particularly hard causing them to rebel in other-worldly ways.

The noises, as can be seen documented in numerous YouTube videos, begin as distant, omni-directional booming noises where homes often shake when the thunderous booming begins. To make matters much worse, the booming will, more often than not, take place at night lending a sort of nightmarish quality to the disturbing sounds.
No one knows, although many theorize, as to the reasons for these noises which range from natural explanations including natural atmospheric disturbances to Thor's making yet another Marvel Avenger movie.
However, these loud booming noises that folks keep hearing, might be nothing much more than E.T. pitching a temporal tantrum, banging on Earth's door like an outrageously bizarre, ultra-high tech , alien debt-collector.
Boom, boom, boom!
An unreal answer to be certain; however, when we all stop to think about how a man, who doesn't even know how many states the US has, came from out of nowhere, amazingly got re-elected in a horrid economy, while yet producing over $ 6 trillion in new debt and losing America's prime financial standing, and simultaneously utilizing a fake US birth certificate consisting of more layers than Nancy Pelosi's cosmetic foundation, then it all begins to make a certain sort of bizarre sense.

#6- Sequester Cuts Responsible for Meteor Nearly Taking out Earth
So, many might be asking how in the world, could the sequester cuts have caused a meteor to veer into earth's atmosphere nearly taking out a section of the entire planet? To be certain, many scientists and meteorologists, who believe that climate change is not at all man-made, might have a serious problem with this theory. However, there are those other types prayerfully congregating in the low-information threshold, who might eagerly grasp onto the belief the global warming and meteor strikes belong in a related missing link type of category.
The idea of random natural earth phenomena being connected to global warming was first put forth by cerebrally noted celebrity and Hollywood actor, Danny Glover, a man who has shown a singular brilliance in slowly constructing random sentences while simultaneously voicing them.
In his initial hypothesis, it was Glover who first made the scientifically fantastic notion by stating the following after the cataclysmic Haitian earthquake:
Indeed, a wordsmith to be sure. Duly noted, now, that the initial link has been established by a voting member of the Hollywood erudite class rendering it beyond reproach, but where do the meteor strikes and sequester cuts come in? Enter the media elite and one of its better known trophy-blonde, dataticians, CNN news reader Deborah Feyerick, who first postulated to Bill Nye that an asteroid nearly entering Earth orbit has a climate change connection, as initially communicated to science guy Bill Nye:
Something else is falling from the sky, and that is an asteroid...uh..what..what is coming our way? Is this an effect of, perhaps, global warming
Mr. Guy, Bill Nye, was quick to respond that "the words Meteor and meterology come from the same root" and voila'! The eagle has landed and with an answer to our puzzling question. The fact that the Latin word "meteoros" as a root, which means "something in the air," could not dissuade either the science guy nor the dizzy info babe from surmisingly postulating that their next flight out of town could also be aboard a Latin described meteoros, nor did Nye correct Feyerick's alert dis-assertion.
So, now that the connection between meteors and global warming has been made, the question must next be asked: How might that work? Once again, quite simple to explain in using modern-day climate change scientist parlance, which can explain pretty much anything. You see, the earth's atmosphere has supposedly been altered to such a degree by man's constantly pumping carbon dioxide into the air that the atmosphere has become statically loaded with humongous amounts of both moisture and energy.

These two forces then combine, in effect, to alter the earth's orbit through the solar system by way of atmospheric drag, operating much like a solar sail in reverse. It's, in effect, much the same way as placing a roof-flap on a Nascar racer, to ostensibly keep the car from becoming airborne and smashing into fans, albeit, if it's installed correctly by the GM workers union members.
But how does that apply to the meteor? Simple, the atmospheric drag has altered the earth's orbit to such a degree that the earth has now swerved into an asteroid field, which is how all of this can easily be traced to the sequester cuts; by way of the closure of numerous regulatory enforcement agencies which operate to keep as many carbon dioxide producing entities and companies in a constant state of couch potato flux.

These agencies' newly sequestered inability to curb industry and keep the unemployed dozing in front of their TV's, rather easily explains the Earth's veerage into an asteroid field, by virtue of increased carbon dioxide output. The meteor didn't come to us, we came to it.
And God ain't Han Solo......

#5- White Out Blizzard Hits Midwest and Capital: Experts Say Sequester Cuts to Blame
Project HAARP, a little known technology which has been in use since 1993, in conjunction with the sequester cuts limiting its use, could easily be the reason for the increase in the massive winter storms which have been plaguing the Midwest and northeast in the most recent month.
The acronym HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Aurora Research Program and it is also a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which is funded by the US Department of Defense. In both the build-up and the wake of the sequester cuts, the Obama directed sequester essentially cutoff funding to the HAARP research project which, rumors state, can deftly alter the weather in certain regions when charged and targeted, via massive ion displacement.
Recently, the blizzards and storms that have typically raged over US history, have returned with a vengeance and the funds that have been typically sent HAARP's way might have been severely sequestered causing the storms to return. This in turn could have a boomerang effect, however, by bolstering the global warming detractors' assertions that man-made warming is a myth and temperatures are in fact, getting colder, which simply will not do. Chances are good, that in order to maximize the possibility of instating carbon tax credits, the HAARP arrays will soon be fired up yet again.

I mean, it should be quite obvious, especially when a recent congressional hearing on global warming had to be suspended due to a gigantic snowstorm enveloping DC, right? How utterly embarrassing for the climate cultists, to be sure.
Therefore, don't look for these cold temperatures to continue for much longer, in fact, if America see's temperatures rise in March and April from both January and February mean temperatures, this could be certain proof that Obama and the global warming cultists have elected to somehow resume HAARP funding.
And those HAARP induced violent storms in April will be certain to have been artificially arranged by nefarious agency controllers, in order to bolster their climate change fictions.
Bastards.....

#4- Obama Admits Losing Dictator Status as a Result of Sequester Cuts
Can terrifying Mothmen not also be dictators, or does the one automatically negate the other?
It was in the same press conference, earlier alluded to, that Obama dropped yet another bombshell which sent the Conservative media joyously running to their computers. In the assemblage, Obama stated the following to a stunned yet sill-adoring media:
"I am not a dictator; I'm the president.
Rut-Roh! Many might disagree, unless of course, Obama has also lost his near-Dictator status as a result of the sequester cuts.

However, in looking just a bit further, one might notice that Mothman Obama left the question open with a request of affirmation, at the very end, with an enigmatically questioned "Right?"
I can't have the Secret Service block the doorway, right?"
Perhaps Obama's concerted attacks on many of America's constitutional rights, you know, the right to bear arms, freedom of religion, freedom from the right of drone assassination, freedom to see to one's own medical needs, etc et al, has placed him into a sort of populist pantheon, which thereby automatically grants him the right to do pretty much anything he desires, at least with the proper affirmation from the media accompanied by a sternly worded executive order.
Time will tell...

#3- NASA Warns Something Unexpected Happening with Sun: Sequester Cuts Suspected
So, what does Michelle Obama's wardrobe, coupled with the sequester cuts, have to do with the sun's halting its forecasted sunspot activity and the Romulan Empire?
Everything, apparently.
You see, if the American people are given to believe that the sequester cuts have caused even public White House tours which are conducted by volunteers to be suspended, this despite the fact that the 2013 cuts in the budget leave the federal government, still, with more funding than in 2012, then we would submit that virtually any explanation, however implausible, should be just as convincing.
However, our hypothesis of sequestration-cut chaos should be far more appealing and perhaps even just a bit more realistic than the White House version. So how are these undeniably fantastic things related? Well, It goes all the way back to the 2012 inauguration of Obama and the First Lady's choice of an inagurative dress. You see, when Michelle Obama picked out her dress, it wasn't just any dress, but rather her choice of attire was an off-the-rack extra-galactic copy of a very powerful, and very jealous female Romulan leader's dress whose name is Commander Donatra.

When Romulan agents initially picked up on the fact that Michelle had mooched the very territorial Romulan's attire, not to mention her hair style, all bets were off, as to what diabolical scheme might be hatched against planet Earth for the Obama's horrid transgression.
But only several days after the sequester cuts kicking in, NASA has released a warning that the sun's solar activity appears to have slowed down remarkably, to the point of not at all falling within the sun's normal solar cycle activity range. So, the big question is, were the supposedly fictitious, but technological super-weight Romulans involved in the sun waning activity by virtue of either a red matter reactive probe or some planet-killing trilithium device?

Fantastic to be sure, and yet, no more so than any of the explanations provided by the Mothman Regime during the Benghazi congressional hearings. And, our out-of-this world hypothesis is so much more entertaining to the low-information types, than Hillary Clinton's concussive explanations in her Benghazi testimony.

#2-Budgetary Expert Rep. Maxine Waters Declares US to Lose All of its Jobs and then some Due to Budget Sequester cuts
Like a gaff prone banshee shrieking her terrifying cry from the urban wilderness, Congresswoman Maxine Waters can always be depended upon to screech something both outrageously funny and insufferably stupid at the same time.
But this time, Waters outdid even herself, while causing many sparsely knowledgeable low-information types to moan in concerted despair, by telling an already disturbed America how many jobs it was fixing to lose as a result of the looming spending cuts.

In her diatribe with regard to the sequestration plagues, Congresswoman Waters efforted her best emulation of Mothman Obama, in effect becoming a female Mothman version, or Mothra, I suppose, by stating this:
“We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these job losses — over 170 million jobs that could be lost
Startling to be sure, especially when we stop to consider that the US currently holds about 150 million jobs. But, while holding at bay the fact that Congresswoman Waters also thinks an American flag is planted on Mars, along with a Moonrover buggy, which American argonauts left there, we may yet be some semblance of truth to the Congresswoman's assertions, at least for the long run.
In fact, we already know that since Obama's inaugurpationary ascendance, the US has lost about 8.5 million jobs. If we, in fact, were to extrapolate these 8.5 million job losses while figuring in the fact that the US currently holds about 150 million jobs; then at a standing loss rate of 8.5 million jobs over 5 years, America would lose virtually all of its jobs and then some by the year 2033 equaling out to a stunning 170 million jobs.Hmm....Maybe Water's isn't so idiotic after all....

#1-Florida Man Missing after being Swallowed up by Sinkhole : Budget Sequester Cuts Suspected
In a story designed specifically for both the Mothman Chronicles and the X-files, was the news item which came surging out of Florida and right in the thick of the sequestration cuts insanity. The story was about a sleeping man who was documented as having been dragged down to his apparent death, in the middle of the night no less, by a powerful sinkhole which opened up directly underneath his bed, and sucked him into his grave.
Even more bizarre was the fact that the rest of the home and structure were largely unaffected at the time of the murderous sinkhole's opening along with the fact that the unfortunate man's body has never been found.
But the most bizarre aspect? Seffner Florida is only about three counties away from Palm City, Florida which is where Mothman Obama took his "Sole" Florida golf vacation only a few days earlier. So, was the Mothman also lurking around this tragedy, as well? It was the sequester cuts that had ostensibly driven Obama to take a lone vacation away from the clamor that was unfolding within the inner-beltway.
The incessant plot thickens even further when we note that the unfortunate man who was mysteriously dragged down into the earth had a last name which has been known to set Mothman Obama off into unsightly peels of rage, blame and name-calling.
You see, the unfortunate man's last name was "Bush."

The Economic Collapse: Billionaires Escape US Stocks as Obama Wages War on Spending Cuts

Still unmindful of the historical lunacy in the US continually printing money out of thin air, President Obama continued, on Friday, in his resistance to cutting spending while simultaneously blaming Republicans for not being in agreement to spend even more in borrowed funds.
Responding to a CNN reporter's questions during a press conference on the sequester, Obama mixed sci-fi metaphors, while perhaps even shocking a number of ardent supporters, by admitting to attendees, the following:
I am not a dictator, I’m the president. Ultimately, if Mitch McConnell or John Boehner say we need to go to catch a plane, I can’t have Secret Service block the doorway. The White House, in quasi-dictator style, meanwhile, has loosed several veiled but documented threats against at least two prominent journalists for being critical of White House efforts at denial of originating the sequester cuts. Obama's team has also been charged with 'moving the goal posts' against what was originally agreed, in the passage of the budget control act of 2011, which allowed the 2011 debt ceiling increase.
America's failure to take hold of its spending problems resulted in the US losing its AAA bond rating for the first time in US history, in August of 2011.
Despite Obama's numerous declarations in 2009 to cut the US deficit in half, Obama in 2013, has resisted virtually any type of cuts in spending that could make taking control of the deficit remotely possible, while still insisting on more tax increases. This has led a number of Conservative political watchers to insist that Obama is angling for a Cloward-Piven style collapse of the US economy, in order to complete his task of transforming America into a European-styled Socialist economy.
While some might scoff at such a notion, a number of high-profile billionaires appear to be within at least some semblance of agreement. Billionaire investor Warren Buffett has reportedly beendumping a large amount of US consumer stocks recently along with other prominent investors.
Obama's 2009 pledge in which he promised to cut debt in half
Left-Wing capitalist George Soros and even billionaire John Paulson have also dumped millions of shares of US banks and other consumer oriented stocks, recently.
This has led many to speculate that interest rates may be forced into rising, despite US federal reserve efforts at keeping rates at artificial lows. If a market-driven interest rate increase were to occur with enough of a surge, US Treasury bonds could lose most of their value and a US Housing and stock market collapse could become eminent.
When investors also factor in the US economy-shattering Obamacare effects for 2014, prospects for growth take on an increasingly gloomy aspect, as a number of businesses increasingly lay off workers to avoid inevitable health insurance price-spikes. US group insurance premium increases are even now approaching cost surges of as much as 50% higher for some businesses, in 2013, as a result of the Affordable Healthcare act which fully implements in 2014.
Under current scenarios, an interest surge coupled with the crippling cost of mandated healthcare means US Business faces an uphill battle, at best. Companies would be forced into paying far more in interest rates while also being hit with impossible to afford healthcare charges. Expansion would then become far more difficult as companies would delay necessary borrowing thereby snuffing out any possibility of further US economic expansion.
All in all, business would see a tailspin of anti-growth for the US economy, and an eventual collapse might become eminent.
If such a collapse were to take place, speculation has suggested that riots would eventually erupt in most major US cities, which might also explain the US government's domestic purchase of millions of rounds of ammunition, over the past 12 months.

The Lyin' King: Fact-Checking the President's Disingenuous Sequestration Cuts Attack

He was for it before he was against it, In fact, the Obama team actually organized the sequestration cuts in order to get the debt ceiling raised. The part of the argument continually being lost? The fact that Obama's entire reason for the budget sequester cuts was to substantially raise the US debt ceiling prior to the 2012 election season, now the President is trying to renege.

The President came out furiously swinging on his return from a golf vacation with Tiger Woods on Monday. However, the thing that has confused a significant proportion of both pundits and news watchers, is the fact that Obama is vehemently attacking a sequestration proposal that he, himself, put forth back in the 2011 debt ceiling negotiations.
In the proposal, The sequestration cuts, which are now required (but could have been avoided had an agreement been reached by mid-December of 2011), set forth a number of mandatory spending cuts that would be automatic if Congress granted any increase in the debt limit thereafter without making any cuts.
These cuts would be applied to any and every program except Medicaid, Social Security, civil and military pay and veterans.
The cuts would be set at the baseline of 2011 spending levels, meaning an annual increase of 3% plus inflation, for all future years, beginning in 2012, of course. The only way to avoid these cuts would be for either a Constitutional balanced budget amendment to be sent to the states or spending being reduced by a greater amount than the debt limit is increased.
The main problem for the President, unfortunately, is the fact that the original provisions were initially proposed by the White House, not the Republicans.
The Budget Control Act of 2011
According to Star Watergate reporter Bob Woodward, it was indeed the White House which proposed the sequestration cuts as a way to finally get a debt limit increase which was signed into law by the President in August of 2011.
Jack Lew, the then White House Office of Management Director and White House Legislative Affairs Director Ron Nabors , at Obama's approval, went to Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who then put forth the proposal to the congressional Republicans.
The agreement for increasing the debt ceiling was, therefore, finally reached due directly as a result of the sequestration proposal put forth by the President and his White House Staff.
These facts, coupled with Obama's furious attacks, ostensibly on himself, while also blaming the Republicans, has left many in the media confused with regard to the proper way to address this particular issue. Who, in the mainstream media, wants to call the President either totally confused or worse, a liar?
The Shadow-Fighting Lyin' King
The President, in his attack on the sequestration cuts which can clearly be seen in the accompanying video, was both adamant and forceful in his rather scathing attack on both himself and his earlier ideas, while dutifully surrounded by firefighters and other emergency personnel.
Obama angrily stated "these cuts are not smart, they're not fair, they will hurt our economy, they will add hundreds of thousands of Americans to the unemployment rolls."
The question naturally arose, from many who were watching the President's address, as to why Obama must have offered such a terrible arrangement of cuts, if he himself, thought the cuts to be so utterly horrid, in the first place?
The President then went on an often confusing dissimulation on the programs which would hurt "ordinary American families," as follows:
First Responders
With a large group of emergency personnel serving as a backdrop for the President's rancorous speech, the fact that the Federal Government does not employ local, County, nor even State emergency workers, was not lost on those boasting a critical thought process.
Airport Security
The utter contempt of many flying Americans surrounding the TSA's, who provide federal airport security, would probably mean a prolonged bout of extreme rejoicing rather than fearfulness over any cuts to this particular federal program.
Thousands of Teachers Laid-Off-
Most American teachers are probably wondering how they would be affected by the sequestration cuts since teachers are, once again, employed and paid by the States and not the US government.
Primary and Preventative Medical Care-
Since Social Security and Medicaid cannot be affected according to the sequestration rules, and health care is still primarily provided by private health insurers, many are unsure, perhaps even the President as well, as to what actual health programs could ultimately be affected by the government cuts.
US Navy Deployment
Obama claims that the March 1 cuts have forced a US Navy carrier deployment group to stay in port, however, the President leaves out the fact that the Obama regime had earlier forced over $ 487 billion in Department of Defense cuts while ramping up spending on Obamacare and other social programs.
All in all, as Senator Rand Paul indicated, the $85 billion in cuts which are at the core of these arguments are nothing much more than a cut in the future growth of government spending, with a bout of theatrical histrionics thrown in for effect. Which, in the parlance of the federal government's baseline budgeting process, would be correct.
Senator Paul further indicated "there are no real cuts happening over the next ten years."
However, since the sequestration cuts argument began, few within the mainstream media were willing to admit that Obama was the politico who orchestrated these cuts in the first place. As the arguments substantially intensified, Bob Woodward finally came out in an article at the Washington Post and made it very clear that Obama had indeed orchestrated the sequester cuts in the first place.
