A Quantum Shift: The Origins of Change In America Finally Recognized

Conservative Refocus
As the political tide continues its arc into a more perfect Conservative solution, the words which are being brandished by those on the Left, and even within the Media, have taken on a nearly somber tone. The Democrats seem to be sounding more and more like Republicans, while more and more moderate Republicans are sounding like Conservatives as each day passes. Even while many staunch Liberals are now sounding their shrill media alarms as if a final collision with brutal reality is imminent--and it is. The Media around the Globe have begun expressing their dismay at a US Presidency which has seemingly run its course as being now spent and ineffective at best.
The Bush tax cuts have fallen under heavy political scrutiny as most "outer beltway Americans" now know what will most likely occur should those tax breaks be allowed to sunset and tax rates again soar. A double-dip recession with sprinkles on top would be the "best" that we could actually hope for in a world of incrementally dimming economic hopes.

In fact, the simple truth is that many Economists are not even certain that a continuance of the Bush tax cuts will actually be enough to jolt the economy into a consistent job producing mode. And yet, we now have word of a Democratic Party mutiny against Obama as it regards these tax cuts, which the Media comically refers to as a tax cut for those who are "the rich."
A Mutiny for The Bounty
Thirty-one members of the Democratic Party have signed a letter to Nancy Pelosi wisely urging that the Bush tax cuts must be continued across the board, as opposed to a Presidential cherry-picking of those who should receive the cuts according to Obama's Messianic judgment. While we applaud these so called "Rebel Democrats," we cannot help but wonder if this stampede back to the center would be happening if not for the upcoming elections.

It appears that what we, the civil society of Americans, have long known concerning the quantum shift currently happening in America, is only now beginning to be recognized by the self-absorbed Democrats. This sudden realization by these Liberals seems to speak to a particular fact that many Americans have not yet recognized, that being, either the Democrats are painfully imbecilic or even worse, tragically disingenuous as it regards their constituents.
All of this while we all now pragmatically survey the effects of this, our longest ever season of never-ending anti-Capitalism. Many are now surmising that the Liberal Democratic agenda, which we have been suffering through, has actually crippled our economy even worse than the financial meltdown of two years ago--a fact that we have maintained for about the last 12 months. What the "Messianic Economic Troupe" increasingly fails to understand is that a large part of what runs a successful economy is the "feel good" factor of its denizens, otherwise known as the "Consumer confidence level," which has been running at historic lows.
Admiring a Shining Play-Thingy on a Hill
In fact, the collective "feeling" of an economy's inhabitants can be just as important, if not more so, than the pushing of buttons, pulling of levers and manipulations of quantity that the liberally avowed Keynesian economists have been touting for so long. While we try to our best to view and understand what it is that America's Government is trying to accomplish with their seemingly clever manipulation of our vast financial network, we more often than not are reminded of a toddler seated in front of a vast, colorful control panel. The child obliviously playing with the multicolored levers, switches and shiny buttons has not the foggiest notion of what he or she is actually accomplishing, if anything, and who cares? It's just fun!--to them.

And yet, when we survey the scenic debris trail of our disastrous economy, which virtually everyone wishes to look away from after only a fleeting glance at the grotesque, we can seen a glimmer of hope, a small bit of light that refuses to be extinguished. This ray of hope lies solely within the fact that we can thank both God and the stars above that 2010, and not next year, will be "our time" of renewing elections. Can anyone actually imagine the economic carnage which we would be facing if all remained "as is" for another whole year in America? This is the question which many Independents and even a number of Democrats should be asking themselves as November looms around the corner.
The President, perhaps knowing that his fallacious mandate has been wasted on a fruitless and damaging ideological binge, has of late, embarked on a tour of attack against anything or anyone who either appears Republican, Conservative or even Independent and has a countering opinion to his own. This even while defiantly maintaining a defense which appears more like Custer's Last Stand than a clever argument refuting deterrence-- if there actually is one.
When 'The One" Turns Out to Be the Worst Migraine You Ever Had
All the while the battered Officers of the President's Academian Brigade appear to be increasingly resigning their positions and bloodily limping back to the comfort of their ivoried towers, resuming their days of intellectual exercise rather than the brusque and telling pace of Executive action or paralyzed inaction--take your pick. What we now know is that the inaction seems to have fallen on the side of actually improving American's lives and and the action has been a design on extinguishing Liberties while massively growing the size and scope of Government, this can no longer be ascribed as the passive by-product of a wounded economy.
The world, indeed, the Academians have now found, is a different place when a massed aggregate of misplaced decisions can bring pain and suffering and even poverty onto those whom have blindly placed their trust on the illusion of good will and professorial knowledge that yields less than nothing. This unfortunate fact can be seen in the faltering America which we all seem now to find ourselves in. Many of both the President's and the Democrat's adherents appear confused, even dismayed, that "The One" turned out to be just "Another One" as we all now suffer through the ramifications of a singular bias against Free Market Capitalism where a painful conclusion had long been foretold, if only they had listened in earnest.

The Speaker of the House has virtually if not satsifyingly disappeared, knowing also that her time has been measured and found wanting, even while her Senate colleague appears beyond haggard and exhausted from trying to defend and indefensible position.
Critical Blaming Skills
The "soon to be" Majority Party of Republicans, in current latent power, although many having fought a brave and bruising battle, are also suffering the haunting effects of their own ideological shortcomings. The Elites among them having been found out--and to them belongs an even newer battle with an uprise of powerfully mandated Tea Party Members who are publicly sworn, in fidelity, to the Charters of Freedom. The many Republicans who might count themselves among the elite, being crafty and seasoned, now think to peruse and eventually turn these newest Constitutionally bred Tea Party members onto a course which might continue the Republican's faltering dominion.
The President, seeing his precarious positioning, knows only to fall back on his oldest and most worn trick-- that being a Keynesian inspired infrastructure stimulus, yet again. Arrogantly showing off a severe and yet sincere, even proud, lack of imagination and critical thinking skills, relentlessly dredging up item after item of impotent corrections. The President's answers think only to increase an already staggering National debt and a monetary promise to other Nations in the form of the sale of more Treasury bonds, which even the President's own Secretary of State has denounced as being "damaging" to our national security. The President, meanwhile, continues stubbornly insisting that a corner is being turned despite foreclosures having reached their highest point in our history.
Giving Us the Thoroughly Immoderate Willies
The subsection of Civil Society Moderates, seeing their once proud and popular leader unmasked and faltering in his limited judgment, can only shake their heads and hope that something positive might happen to curtail the menace of failure. A failure that promises to eventually drag the severely immoderate President down under a stealthy riptide of recognition borne of his actions.
All of this while a Congress of the Nation's Democratic leaders have only proven themselves to be a morass of followers adept at suspending common sense, while being either unwilling or unable to provide their own brand of independence and leadership. Piously, these hapless Lieutenants of Quasi-Socialism have followed their Messianic leader, along with an entire force marched Country, onto a narrow and harrowing redistribution trail which winds precariously over the verges of an economic chasm which need not have been.

This is where America has now found itself after two of the longest years that many of us can remember.
The resultant confusion as a result of the seemingly conflicted poll data, in many cases, coupled with both primary and voting irregularities that many "experts" simply did not foresee, has the Old-Guard of both Conservatives and Liberals within the Media wondering exactly "what in the world is going on?" Some have even embarked on an effort to attack those who exactingly represent the ideals that they, themselves, actually stand for. Christine O'Donnell has been attacked from members of both the right and the left, while being vilified incessantly. The charges leveled against her, approaching such a level of inane ridiculosity, that we would be non-plussed if told that she had maneuvered an iceberg in front of an approaching Titanic. These reactions by various politicos and pundits are not entirely unusual. When such individuals are faced with the mystery and sometimes even terror of unfamiliar territory, as we now find ourselves in, they can often react in bizarre, even counter-productive ways.
When Every Action Results in an Equal and Opposite Scream of Defiance
The entire landscape has changed, and many, if not most, are bewildered beyond their capacity for understanding the atypical when everything is incorrectly assumed to be fairly typical. But things are not at all "typical" in America right now, and the political nature of America itself must react--every action in politics, as in nature, produces an equal and opposite reaction.
This phenomenon of a confused, indeed, hysterical response can most easily be likened to the old theoretical political equations being inoperative or dysfunctional, as of now. The old standards that many had relied upon can no longer be used, which is because of a quantum shift having occurred in our spectrum of political ideologies --a reaction to a severe shift in our Governance. This quantum shift is, once again, a natural reaction to an imbalance that exists within our "political environment."
Within this quantum shift, The Energy that we have seen displayed has seemingly been multiplied by the masses, We the People, who have now reached a swift awareness of what is being done within our time, our age in this time of our Country, the tipping point having been finally reached and recognized. The resultant invigorated energy multiplied by these masses has then been multiplied yet again, a speed of awareness culminated. The environment around each individual continually undergoing severe alterations which are massively unfavorable and only promises to get worse as time moves forward.

The people then cast about, in search of the one thing that has changed their lives, the one catalyst that can be found which is producing a pronounced ill-effect within their lives, their families, their workplaces and they need not look far --at all --to find where this massive and negative change emanates.
This "change" which has been shouted from every venue from day one can easily be found--and they, the people, now tragically understand that all change is not neccessarily a good thing.
"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek"~Barack Obama

The Delaware Defeat of Castle: When Close Enough Just Isn't Good Enough Any More

The Liberals who infest the Media, along with the Democrats who appear to be sweating bullets here at election time, have managed to achieve some form of "weak hope" as a result of a perceived schism within the Republican and Conservative ranks. This as a result of the stunning results in the Delaware Primary of Christine O'Donnell over Mike Castle.
What the Democrats don't quite yet comprehend is the fact that Castle was far, far closer in his ideological leanings to the Democrats who occupy Washington rather than the Republicans on the opposite end of the spectrum. In fact, Castle is what we often now refer to as a "Republicrat" here at Conservative Refocus, which is an elite Republican who often votes with the Democrats, even eschewing Republicans if a personal advantage can be gained. Further, a Republicrat is one who believes in finding common ground, even when that ground has a consistency of the quick sand that we as a country now find ourselves marred in, rather than one who seeks solid, principled, Constitutional ground.
So, what does this mean to the Democrats? Simply this: Get ready for a rough ride over the next couple of months.
The rejection by Castle is nothing more or less than a rejection of a Democratic Ideology which has proven disastrous for the Country over the last number of years. The People have become engaged all over the Country and the Old Guard Republicrats simply are not getting the job done. This was the singular reason for the Tea Party's ascension, or did the Washington Establishment think that the Tea Party was just a typical political ploy which seems to prevail in the elitist ranks today.
Even the highly honored and conservatively revered Charles Krauthammer and Karl Rove, along with a host of others, appear to be confused at the new paradigm that has quickly become a national--if unpredictable--powerhouse of political popularity. Their response to O'Donnell's winning the primary in Delaware surprised many Constitutionally-inclined Americans. Rove--with his vituperative multiple attacks on O'Donnell; Krauthammer--with his Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore-gloom-and-doom prediction for the Republican Party as a result of her winning. And BOTH of these men are Conservatives whom I deeply admire.
So, what was their chief complaint against O'Donnell? That she is "unelectable"--among many other arguments which could ostensibly be ascribed to any of large number of successful Republican and Democratic politicians.
The answer from those Conservatives on our side?
Just look at who she defeated.
Castle believed in the Stimulus, Healthcare, Crist, and even Cap and Trade, and he was lauded and loved by Democrats everywhere. In fact--one of his first conversations after defeat was with President Obama, for Heaven's sake! His second call? VP Joe Biden.
Sounds like the folks from Delaware might have gotten it right, huh, Charles and Karl?
The times and the environment that we now face are not "business as usual," because that simply isn't working and hasn't worked for some time.
Why stick a Republican in the 51st Senate seat if he or she is going to vote with the Liberals half the time? Why not go for it all and get a Senator who will vote with Conservatives all of the time? The time for "Conservative Conservatism" has past-- thou hallowed pundits. "In your face" Conservatism is what's called for now.
Besides, if O'Donnell is so unelectable, then how was it that she beat out your champion--HANDS DOWN?
The Changing of the Guard will see much more weeping and gnashing of teeth from the Old Guard before this is over.
Hang on tight.
Please Note: Our next Conservative commentary article will delve into this subject a bit further, among other items of interest, and will be published, as normal, on Sunday 9/19 as is typical. Thanks so much for visiting.

To Burn Or Not To Burn: September 11, The Mosque and Inflamed Qurans
Published on September 12th, 2010 @ 12:29:57 pm , using 1901 words

Conservative Refocus
"To be or not to be," a phrase that has given us all a thoughtful pause, when considering our time above ground, seems now to have been replaced. The modern twist on this classic bit of ponderous phrasing has now become "to burn or not to burn," or even better "to move or not to move." These are the absurd questions that currently appear to have occupied The Civil Society's attention and energy with regard to the Ground Zero Mosque for what seems a fruitless eternity.
We now have pundits, the Mainstream Media and various Politicos pouring out of the woodwork like demented termites in order to, perhaps understandably, denounce the Reverend Terry Jones and chastise him for creating an atmosphere of danger to Americans and even our Soldiers due to his universally denounced "outrageous intent" of staging a Quran burn-fest.

And yet, where are the Media denunciations of the individuals who have fomented this ideological rebellion? Where are the Media-phites who should be intent on skewering the Ground Zero Imam and his "Business Associates?" Are they not the ones who actually evolved the idea for placement of a Mosque on ground made sacred by our Fellow Countrymen's blood? Why are they of the Ground Zero Mosque, in effect, given a pass for their perceived ideological transgression against the American People--as with Reverend Jones and his intent of ideological transgression against Muslims?
Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf, the prime instigator in this case, has seemingly painted this country into a corner by his irresponsible actions, and yet where is the withering criticism from the Mainstream Media for these actions or even from the President himself who has been quick to vilify others?
Rauf, rather than being lectured by the President and a vast assortment of the Media for his well publicized "staged event"--as with Jones--has been officially levitated to the point of representing the US in a foreign "tour of good will" campaign on behalf of the US State Department. The man who touts himself as being a "Bridge Builder" has now torn down far many more bridges than he might ever build as far as most Americans go, but we must assume this all to be "OK' since the ever present Messiah and the Media have seemingly approved of his actions.
An Innocuous Threat of Violence to the American People
Imam Rauf has now stated that to move the Mosque could result in a "violent backlash from strict adherents to his Religion of Peace." Rauf even further stated that he would never have conceived of the planned Mosque in this particular location had he known "what sort of pain this was going to cause." And yet, Rauf, being expert on what "his people" would do under certain given circumstances, must be generously given a pass for misunderstanding what "his other people would do"--those being Americans who are inflamed by his actions.

Perhaps we Americans are of lesser importance in the Imam's mental hierarchy of priorities despite the fact that we are "his" countrymen. Regardless, we are also reminded that the Imam had also written earlier, in what seemed to be a subtlyveiled criticism of Americans, the following:
"We have all been awed by how inflamed and emotional the issue of the proposed Community Center has become."
Rauf later wrote after his State Dept. sponsored mid-east trip, the following:
" The level of attention reflects the degree to which people care about the very American values under debate: recognition of the rights of others, tolerance and freedom of worship."
The right to worship, tolerance and freedom of worship, Imam Rauf, is not the issue, and you, Sir must know that. The rights that we Americans hold so dear are not, indeed held so dearly in Islam's Mecca, which is the heartland of the Muslim faith of which you are an adherent. In fact, Mecca does not allow anyone who is not of the Muslim faith into its environs. So on a strict equality basis, how can anyone argue against the fact that Americans and those who believe in a certain sanctity regarding our heartland of Liberty's values and sacred grounds, do not also hold such right of ideological refusal as it regards a prospective ideological construction on or near "our" officially sanctioned sacred ground?

Americans do, for the most part, understand the fact that Muslims and the radical Islamic terrorists who violently murdered many of us on 9/11, are not one in the same. And yet, the roots of the ideological values which you espouse in the building of the Mosque are not separate and apart as it regards either Islamism or Islam--which are both solidified by Sharia and common Islamic values.
Imam Rauf Actually Compares the US to Al Qaeda?
Did not Imam Rauf also say, " We tend to forget in the West that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than Al-Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslim blood"
Or what about his later disturbing comment In an interview displayed on Hadiyul-Islam, where he stated the following:
"It is clear an Islamic state can be established in more than just a single form or mold. It can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of Sharia that are required to govern."
In a 60 minute interview with Ed Bradley in 2001 and regarding US culpability in the 9/11 attack, Rauf stated the following:
"I wouldn’t say that the United States deserved what happened, but the United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened."
So where is the Media outrage for these statements among a host of others?
The Imam has, in effect, damaged the relations between the Muslim world and we "Infidels" as a result of his ill-considered statements and actions, and this fact cannot be denied in any way, shape, or form. The President and the Media have dutifully followed suit by shining a spotlight on these events and fomented dissension by flagging the flames in their pursuit of redress against Terry Jones, whose congregation of fifty people could fit on a school bus, for Heaven's sake.
When Wills Collide
All of this, while the American people grow increasingly irritated that both the President and the Media have once again "ideologically" sided against the collective spirit of We the People.
We all know and understand that the Imam has complete Constitutional right to build the Mosque wherever he pleases, and yet we view that action as unwise. Sound familiar? In other words, what exactly separates the irresponsible actions of the Reverend Terry Jones from the irresponsible actions of Imam Rauf when the actions of both result in the same end?
The reaction to the Reverend Jones' intent to burn Qurans has been, almost universally, critical from leaders of both the right and the left. A few "supposedly" hardcore Conservatives have even bizarrely suggested that the President physically detain, perhaps even arrest the Reverend Jones.
Here at Conservative Refocus, while wishing none of this had happened in the first place, can agree on the fact that the burning of Qurans shows ill-respect and is unwise at best. But we also feel the same way about the burning of the American flag, which we have had the unique displeasure of viewing repeatedly during this debacle--which has resulted in a number of Qurans being been burnt in retribution as of this writing in tandem with a reported attack on Christians by Islamists in Indonesia.
When I, personally, see a US Flag being burnt, I can admit to a measure of distaste being present. And yet the free-market side of my personna always kicks in: Now, in order to burn another flag, they are going to have to buy it first...a retributive "cha-ching."

Further, I can just see the stammering embarrassment of the flag-burning offender, skulkingly padding into some foreign shop in order to purchase yet another US flag for burning, trying to explain his intent for the flag to a disapproving Islamic fundamentalist cashier. This would, most likely, be akin to a staunch Conservative having to reluctantly purchase a life-size Obama poster at a crowded Tea Party Rally.
When the Intolerant Demand Tolerance
As a result, we, as Americans, seem now to be living in a world which demands tolerance from one set of peoples and avows if not even expects intolerance in another. As it involves insulting or the degrading of another people or faith, we are, ostensibly, speaking of symbols or representations as it regards Bibles, Flags, Mosques or even Qurans. The US Constitution sets forth under the Bill of Rights, that Congress shall make no law abridging the Freedom of Speech. Flag-burning and other such activities, including Qurans or Bibles or even Trees to those of the Pantheistic Sects, is an allowed practice within the United States with regard to Freedom of Speech.
This must be the be all and end all within this argument, no matter what other Conservatives or Liberals might surprisingly say to appease the sycophantic Mainstream Media. We cannot pick and choose when we are to allow Freedom of Speech anymore than when we allow Freedom of Religion, and therein seems to lie the rub in this case.
The President, in keeping with his penchant for either stumbling into or creating universal havoc, has once again brought International attention into play regarding this matter when he waded into the turmoil of the building of the Mosque in the first place. At the time, the President was an ardent defender of the rights of the Muslims to build a Mosque under freedom of Religion, despite public displeasure from Americans and "over-all" Islamic world approval.

Then when a US Citizen, in this case the Reverend Jones, wishes to exercise his right of Freedom of Speech within that same vein, in the burning of Qurans, the President has, yet again, sided against this same Freedom of Speech exercise in deference to those of the Muslim faith, and once again to the displeasure of a large number of Americans.
And yet the President wonders why an increasing number of Americans, and even his supporters, think of his religion as being Islam instead of Christianity?
Trying to Forget While Trying to Remember
At this, our remembrance for those who were lost on that terrible September day at the hands of extremist--who even now thirst for more blood--we are also asked to forget the extreme origins of that attack. A certain number even expect us to suspend our cognitive ability to connect the events that we see being played out across the world every day against both us and our Soldiers for the last decade. We are asked to, in essence, allow for a violent animosity against us for no other reason than our sacred belief in the Individual's right to self-determination, freedom of worship and Religion, and the God-given inalienable right of free will.
Our officially sanctioned response to those who would oppose our beliefs seems to have become one of appeasement rather than that of meaningful engagement. All Americans would agree that the US is not in a war against Islam and yet, we are given pause when we stop to consider whether or not Islam might be at war with us.
Is not the seeming appeasement of a selected ideology, in the face of both terror and tyranny--regardless of origin--nothing more than impotent capitulation parading as hopeful procrastination?
Continually seeking "not to offend" while being indiscriminately "offended" is an abomination to our history and, inevitably, to our Liberty itself.
The Ground Zero Mosque was originally touted as officially opening on 9/11, by the way.

When Rising Tide Becomes Torrent: The Tidal Shift in America Now Begins

Conservative Refocus
One has to wonder when the Media, along with the now daunted Liberals, will somehow begin casting aspersions on those of the "Right" for spawning yet another terrorist incident. The most recent attack came from an angry Leftist "environmental wacko" who was apparently suffused with issues. The terrorist in question, James Lee, who was summarily executed on the spot, was apparently angry at the Discovery Channel for mystifyingly spawning public antipathy towards global warming, overpopulation, energy misuse and many of the other typical elitist, hot-button issues of the increasingly misinformed Left.
We did, however, note that one particular CNN Anchorman seemed almost apologetic, regarding Lee's plight in trying to save the planet from the Discovery Channel, who was not quite so ingratiating when the shoe was on the other foot in the past as it regards Fox News and terrorism.

We were most relieved to understand that Lee must have utilized the dreaded "green bomb" which, in typical green fashion, failed in its designed function. Regardless, as with the IRS plane bomber, and the recent New York City car bomber, we Conservatives have been waiting to see how some ranting Progressive will somehow turn this incident, yet again, into an indirect result of the Tea Party's rise.
Media Champions Islam While Government Turns In Arizona?
Do Conservatives fault the Left for the tragic misguidance of their disciples? Certainly not! Although we should point out that terrorism seems now to belong predominately to the camp of either the radical Left or their ideological cousins, the Authoritarian Religious Sects (of which the Media has opted now to gallantly champion). Indeed, we will look forward to the updated Homeland Security watch-list as it regards this new and verifiable threat, which should point to many of its own ideological Leadership's supporters as suspect. But as we wait for the Government to A.P.B. this budding threat, we must also note that our fearless leaders have not been sitting back on their heels as the economy continues its tragic meltdown.
In fact, certain members of the US Government have been very, very busy creating unprecedented history--but in so doing, they have also maintained their seeming ultimate goal of refusing anything that might have any realistic chance to actually improve the US economy and get millions of Americans back to work.
This particular bit of history would be in reference to the US State Department's "reporting" of the State of Arizona to the United Nation's Human Rights Commission under the obvious approval of a sitting--or worse, vacationing-- President Obama. Most of us are now aware of this well-trodden fact; however, not many are actually talking about the various sub-implications of all of this.

So, what are the sub-implications, you might ask? Simple, never in the history of the United States has either a State Department or a sitting Secretary of State or certainly a US President ever even considered reporting their own country to a world governing organization such as the United Nations for any so-called Human Rights violations. Obama has now, rather comically, become the "Messianic Snitch" of his own people, and I am referring to Americans, not Kenyans, although according to Jay Leno, one in five disappointed Kenyans now believe that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Obama's Cherry Tree
This particular UN/Obama brand of self-flagellating impudence glares even further when one notes that the Arizonan Legislature was simply mirroring Federal law. Did the Federal Government also report itself, we should ask? Doubtful, for those who are walking the path of Governmentology Mysticism can certainly do no wrong.
So what does it all mean to we, the huddled masses of unwashed hayseeds? Well, to this individual it could mean all sorts of things, the first being that once this particular fact has saturated into the populace's consciousness, the President's polling numbers will, no doubt, sink that much further--not to mention Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's. And one must remember, those poll numbers are a measure of the President's mandate to both the Media and Congress.
Why did the United States essentially report itself? I have heard and seen a number of both plausible and implausible explanations as to the Administration's inexplicable rationale. One of the most plausible would be that the United States Government is trying to lead, by example, those other Nations of the world, who in a fit of introspection will also now report themselves and then immediately "repent" and mend their ways, and we shall all--then--live happily ever after "the world over." But of a secondary note, this does seem to repeat the stream of assorted Obama apologies on behalf of the US-- to the world--for our own bedeviled shortcomings as seen by the unapologetic left--to which we would rejoin: Speak for yourself Mr. Obama--you are certainly not speaking for your Countrymen.
Other explanations have run the gamut from an Obamaesque "temper tantrum" to an even bolder and yet still subtle move towards the, often cherished by certain members of the Elite, "One World Government System." My personal feeling, en sarkas, would have to be that Obama has now shifted his Presidential affinity from Abraham Lincoln to George Washington and has discerned a bellwether way to do it.

Remember the famous myth of Washington's assertion that he could not tell a lie, that he did chop down the fabled cherry tree? Well, maybe Obama's cherry tree is the state of Arizona, an allusion that can be discerned in all sorts of interesting ways.
"The Presidency for Dummies"
But the historical fact, in this case, would have to be that the Federal Government was designed to act on behalf of its own States with regard to matters of State--certainly not against as in this case. Perhaps the Prez forgot to read that section of the book, "The Presidency for Dummies/Matters of State" when he took office. Hmmm...all of the available evidence to date would seem to back up this particular contention. But this does also speak to the subject of what an increasingly troubled civil society is learning about its Government and how they plan to dutifully react in November. One news item, which seems to have a majority of both Americans and New Yorkers continually steamed, is the Gound Zero Mosque issue.

This particular issue simply refuses to go away to the President's chagrin, which has both the Media and the Liberals in an uproar. Most of us confess to a largely consternating inability to understand the mindset of our ideological opposites. They, who are normally dismissive of any sort of belief in a Higher Power or Creationism or even organized religion, now seemingly rally around the cause of an extreme form of religious adherence that seems to go against virtually everything that the Liberals have stood for in the past.
Now the word being bandied about by the Media to a naively unsuspecting America is "Islamiphobia," for Heaven's sake. They just don't quite ever really get it, do they? Well, let's just take a moment or so in order to analyze what the conjoined Islam and phobia actually means to the Media as it is applied to Civil Society.
Islam or Islamic is defined as the civilization of Muslims collectively, which is governed by the Muslim Religion. Phobia is a term that typically means extreme or "irrational fear" of simple things or situations. The word Muslim, as differentiated from the word Islam, means a believer or adherent of Islam. There also seems to be valid schools of thought which speak of a difference among Muslims, which could be defined as Moderate Muslims, on the one hand, and Islamic Fundamentalists on the other--or Islamism. Islamism is the dangerous one--to put it mildly.
To explain further, Moderate Muslims essentially believe in the faith unto itself, while Islamism speaks to an ideology which opposes both Capitalism and Liberalism, often in explosive ways. Critics often note that Islamism and its practices are systemically rooted in the same ground as Fascism and Marxist-Leninism, which tends then to explain why Islamism is, at present, diametrically opposed to the United States and its free-market, free-will, Constitutional form of Government.
Phobia Means "Irrational Fear", So Media-lite Gets It Wrong Again
In other words, short of becoming a Muslim State replete with Shariah Law, the Islamists are, most likely, never going to be admirers of the Leader of the Free World's form of Government--to put it nicely--as opposed to moderate Muslims. So, after being attacked and killed in droves due only to the fact that one is an American, both in the US and abroad, by radical Islamists mainly over the past 20 or more years, those who are even now threatening to attack us in myriad ways may instill just a niggling bit of trepidation, or perhaps caution, if you will, as far as the American people are concerned.

Guilty as charged, then, but with qualification regarding Islamiphobia. For the Media to be stating, or rather accusing, that Americans exhibit "irrational" fear as it might regard radical Islam is a dreadful overeach by the Media. Even if we look only at the events of 9/11, calling this an "irrational" fear is, ahem, irrational. The American people are not stupid, but this does lead us to wonder about the Media, as far as that goes.
As a result of all of this surmounting incoherence, both the Liberals and the Democrats seem to be getting desperate as a new feeling continually seeps into the consciousness of most Americans. We have written of this quasi-revolutionary mindset before, and yet while often getting close to what is truly happening within the group-mind of Civil Society, we more often than not struggle to adequately explain and encompass the tides of movement that are happening all around us.
This is most likely due to the fact that one side of the paradigm seems to be going in one direction while the resistant forces of that same paradigm are moving in the opposite direction. When we take a look at nature itself, we can begin to, euphemistically at least, draw correlations in order to understand the actions that are at play. Many have often mused that all things both human and otherwise can be likened to nature's forces in one way or another. Despite what the radical environmentalists might preach, we are all, in fact, a part of nature. In this case, perhaps the best way to describe these forces at play is to draw a comparison from the earth's grand tidal basin itself.
The Rising Tide
We all love the ocean and being able to intuit the great power and mystery that are the seas, as we ruminate from the relative safety of the shore. But when we venture out into the water at the ocean's edge and, in a sense, become a part of the ocean, we can feel the forces at work around our bodies.
We can also both sense and feel a number of things happening all at once, a convergence of differing forces that, while sometimes seeming to work against each the other, ultimately work together as a natural part of the greater whole.
One part of that sensation is the power of the ocean flowing in, which can be likened to the power of our American Society moving back in, in effect flowing up against the waning power of the previous day's political tide. This opposing tidal movement, that being the ocean which is receding back from the shore, could be likened to the last two years of a Government that has tried and often succeeded at initially flooding and then incrementally seeping into every part of American life.

As this nearly exhausted kinetic power that is Statism has, for the most part, lost much of its impetus, it must now flow backward, propelled by nature itself, while the rising tide of Society flows in to take its place. But as we stand and feel these natural flows at work, we notice something else. As the ocean recedes back into itself from beneath our feet, the power of that flow destabilizes our footing. We can feel the temporary foundation of the base on which we stand become loosened and fragmented and carried away, even while the powerful incoming flow works to replace the old footing with a layer of new.
And so it is with the overall destabilization of American life from the concentrated power of Federal Statism under the leadership of the Liberal Democrats and Obama.
When we look into virtually every sector, every walk of our lives as Americans--our religion, economy, race, family, healthcare, income, housing...
Not one single part of our lives has been left untouched or unaffected in one way or another, a problem soon to be corrected by the People's mandate.
"The greatest threat to mankind and civilization is the spread of the totalitarian philosophy. Its best ally is not the devotion of its followers but the confusion of its enemies. To fight it, we must understand it."
