Is Obama's transformation of America working?

So far, it would appear that it is.

As the Obama administration continues to somehow deny the fact that the nation's government must curtail its spending, or else, we are now also hearing a variety of different spins on the same outdated Socialist systems as incrementally becoming more and more acceptable to Americans, as a whole.

In a story at the left-leaning sight, The Nation, writer John Nichols essentially blames the entire Socialist movement, rather ridiculously, on the political Right of America and Paul Ryan:

A new Gallup Poll finds that socialism is now viewed positively by 39 percent of Americans, up from 36 percent in 2010. Among self-described liberals, socialism enjoyed a 62 percent positive rating, while 53 percent of Democrats and independent voters who lean Democratic gave socialism a thumb’s up.

Not exactly good news for American prosperity, as a whole. But then Nichols goes on to assign blame, as follows:

Indeed, it is fair to say that nothing has done more to promote the cause of socialism than the ranting and raving of Sarah Palin, Paul Ryan, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. It’s not just that the right has spread the word about socialism, raising the ideology’s profile to levels rarely experienced in recent decades—if ever—and associating the ideology with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, President Obama and a lot of other programs and people that Americans actually like. The fact that so many agitated, angry and—at least in some cases—politically toxic characters go apoplectic at the mere mention of the ideology has undoubtedly caused millions of Americans who don’t know much about socialism to say to themselves, “Anything that Paul Ryan does not like must have some merit.”

The fact that Nichols, rather enigmatically, ascribes blame towards the Right for an ideology that he finds promising, is never quite made clear to his increasingly gullible readers.

Why assign blame for a thing that the writer finds promising? Why not 'accolades' to the Right's usual suspects for a job well done, if his points be true?

Has Nichols even considered that his and his cohorts' constant proselytizing, on behalf of the Left and Socialism, to include Obama, might have something to do with the seeming increase of Socialism's acceptance in America? Nevermind our failed educational system, to be certain.

In punishing the Right-Wings' chief defenders in Limbaugh, Palin, Hannity and Ryan, Nichols leaves out the fact that the entire Left-Wing media, as a whole, is actually the chief protagonists/antagonist (dependent upon view) in pushing America into an eventually failing economic paradigm.

The fact of Socialism's crippling demise is one which history indefatigably upholds, but that Nichols incipiently denies on an almost nauseating basis.

This particular paradigm of failure, in America, is quickly beginning to already emulate the now increasingly failed Socialism which can be found in the economic mayhem still blooming within the European Union.

To those of us who ardently study history, along with a vast number of Conservative economists, Winston Churchill put it best as it regards the illusory panoplies of governmental socialism:

The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money.

However others would seem to dream on, at least until the reality of extreme upheaval strikes like a vengeful serpent, and even then the denial of blame will always be directed to some other point on the compass of culpability.

A thing we have grown used to in the last four years....

Nichols goes on, in his now mostly pointless diatribe, to then hilariously paint the Republican Lincoln as a closeted Marxist, while waxing emphatic on how Marx congratulated Lincoln on his winning of the Civil War, and even paints Lincoln's acceptance of the congratulatory episode, as proof that the Great Emancipator was, somehow, a collectivist at his core.

 

The sixteenth president spoke often about the superiority of labor to capital and was highly critical of concentrated wealth. Toward the end of the Civil War, the White House accepted the congratulations of Marx and his fellow London Communists after Lincoln’s 1864 re-election.

 

After this passage, Nichols assures us that Lincoln was "no Marxists" and yet the preference of labor over capital is clearly a Marxist facet, so the seed has at least been planted, if not exactly nourished, but was this an accurate representation of Lincoln?

Doubtful.

"Revisionism," quite frankly, is a thing embedded deeply inside the Communist Manifesto and Nichols appears to be expert at its stealthily contrived deployment. However, Nichols ends with this collosal gem of ignorance, as Rush would say:

There will always be reactionaries like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan who try to make ideas scary. But when one in four Republicans have a positive reaction to the word “socialism,” it is pretty clear that the reactionaries are not doing any better in framing the economic and intellectual debate than they did on Election Day.

And, yes, that would have made Frank Zeidler, who was at once a great believer in socialism and a believer in the American experiment, a very happy man.

The very last line is what really got me....or maybe America has temporarily lost its centuries-old position as being Leader of the Free World. Either way, Socialism is not what made America Great, nor will it serve American prosperity; and nowhere within the historical explanations of Socialism's prime impetus, will you find the word "Free" because nothing ever is, on balance.

But 'herein lies the rub,' as they say.....now moving "Forward" to that which others end up fleeing.

The magazine Travel and Leisure just recently released its annual listing of the world's most dangerous countries. The chief intent of the article was to simply warn or advise travelers of the dangers that might exist in traveling to certain countries or areas within countries that pose a verifiable risk.

However, while the travel and lifestyle magazine largely focuses on the simple fact of how dangerous a particular nation is, as well as the specific dangers that exist, we thought it might be interesting to look at the "why's" of that danger which, more often than not, speak to the political themes at play.

When we broke the countries down in order to analyze the connective similarities between each, we found several variables largely belonging in the same geopolitical category.

First up on the travel and leisure list might not surprise you:

1) Pakistan

Language: English, Urdu

Form of Government: Parliamentary Federal Republic, Military

Form of Judiciary: Sharia Law

Life Expectancy: 66

The main danger in Pakistan is one of terrorism and extreme militantism from those who bitterly cling to their guns and religion in the form of fundamentalist Islam. If you are intent upon traveling here, you might consider purchasing a bulletproof vest and some additional life insurance with a very reputable carrier. Pakistan continues to suffer from a tug-of-war between the military and the leaders of the government, while also being embroiled in tensions with its India neighbor.

We would further recommend against making inquiries into touring the now-pillaged Bin Laden compound. The terrorist mastermind was quite the hero among local Pakistanis'.

It might also be wise to watch out for those wallop packing US drones overhead as well.....unless, of course, you are part of a US Embassy contingent.

2) The Sudan

Language: Arabic, English

Form of Government: Authoritarian

Form of Judiciary: English Common Law and Sharia

Life Expectancy: 62

A northern Africa country, the Sudan has been in a prolonged war between Christians and Muslims for quite some time now. It was only in 2011 that the state of Sudan finally split apart due to civil war and a new state, the Southern Sudan, was established.

If you expect on traveling here, might want to include an Abrams tank as the safest form of transportation, at least for the foreseeable future.

3) Georgia

Language: Georgian

Form of Government: Parliamentarian Presidential Republic

Form of Judiciary: Evolving

Life Expectancy: 81

Still smarting from the five day war with Russia in 2008, and as a former Soviet bloc country, Georgia boasts a beyond exhilarating landscape featuring still-unexploded Russian shells of the highest Communist quality.

Indeed, those Russians can really build them.

A nation beset all around by Islamic extremists, the mostly Christian Georgian people have been under what might seem as a prolonged assault by Islamic Separatists since the Soviet Union dissolved in the early nineties. Still evolving as A Democratic Parliamentarian Republic, many authoritarian style forms of repression appear to still exist, however, since the 2003 Rose Revolution, the nation has been making strides.

If you expect on traveling here, try obtaining diplomatic immunity first and be diligent in maintaining constant contact with the Embassy, in the form of staying within the embassy and not moving about in front of windows at all times.

However, for those people with a still-lingering bout of extreme depression from the US main election, traveling to Georgia might be the best way to get away from all, and for an eternity

4) Lebanon

Language: Arabic, French

Form of Government: Confessionalist Parliamentary Republic

Authoritarian Form of Judiciary: Civil System including Christian, Jewish and Sharia law (as needed)

Life Expectancy: 75

Located between a proverbial rock (of Israel) and the hard place (of Syria), the US State department recommends against all travel here, unless one has in his or her possession a colorful suit of modern-technology iron with weapons integrated profusely throughout. Islamic Hezbollah militants and Al Qaeda are frequently encountered at numerous road-blocked locations throughout the nation.

If you're an extreme traveler in the same mold as extreme skiers, this might be your most dangerous bet, however prudence would also suggest that ANR (Against Natural Selection) rescues are pretty much non-existent in this particular neck of the international woods.

5) North Korea

Language: Korean

Form of Government: Communist Authoritarian

Form of Judiciary: Do As We Say Or Else...

Life Expectancy: 69

In order to go to North Korea, you first must go through Communist China, which largely entails frequent tag-along apparatchiks to ensure that you stay out of trouble. A nation consistently at odds with its neighbor to the South, North Korea is probably not your first choice of vacation relaxation destinations unless you're with the Reverend Franklin Graham, who purportedly enjoys a league of Angelic protection.

A communist nation teetering on the edge of starvation, bring your own food and enough for at least several thousand others if you want to be the American equivalent of 'North Korean Idol.'

6) Syria

Language: Arabic

Form of Government: Authoritarian

Form of Judiciary: Sharia

Life Expectancy: 75

A country led by a secularly murderous dictator whose party is officially known as the Arab Socialist Bath Party is probably not your first choice of destination for travel, especially if you're a liberty loving Protestant. Embroiled in a civil war since the Muslim Spring movement which occurred shortly after President Obama's election, a visit to this nation might only be laudable if you're a big fan of voluntary euthanasia.

However, if you or your loved one harbors affection for Car bombs, assassinations and violent anti-western protests, this might be your Utopia. Seeming to be populated by a group of humans collectively suffering from Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Syria might be destination numero uno for you, if your thing is heart-stopping, pulse-pounding adventure, literally.

7) Yemen

Language: Arabic

Form of Government: Unitary Presidential Republic, i.e. authoritarian dictatorship

Form of Judiciary: Sharia

Life Expectancy: 64

Yemen is considered to be the poorest nation in the Arabian world which should tell you pretty much everything you need to know as a tourist. Here again, the US State department states of this colorful nation "stay clear" unless, of course you frequently daydream about being tortured and then group-slain by traveling droves of al Qaeda terrorists.

The major religious factions that exist in this impoverished nation are mostly split between the Islamic Sunni's and Shia's, an explosive combination if ever there were one. In fact, the mixing of these two Islamic belief systems might be no less potent than the intermixing for human consumption of red beans and cabbage, which often results in an explosive retaliation.

8) Uzbekistan

Language: Uzbek

Form of Government: Presidential Republic, authoritarian

Form of Judiciary: Civil law

Once a Soviet satellite nation, there are plenty of ancient mosques to visit here, while noting the US State Department's warning of cautionary travel. Here also, the threat of Islamic terrorism exists in a nation dominated by Islamic fundamentalism.

A foundering Republic dominated by an authoritarian government, Uzbekistan's leadership is largely hostile to allowing any significant business activities due to a fear of the government becoming marginalized by private economic development. Islam is the dominant religion in the nation and its Mullahs largely frowns upon any religious activity unapproved by the state.

Two notable points of interest feature the extremes of temperature, which range from -9 F degrees in the winter to upwards of 104 F in the summer and the gradual killing by Communistic over-consumption of the Aral Sea under the Soviets, ostensibly for the growth of cotton.

A post-modern authoritarian state dominated by Islam, Uzbekistan might be the nation of choice to visit for environmentalist whackos and Capitalism-hating Socialists who enjoy pointing out how economic activity can decimate the environment and a nation. That is, as long as these same Leftist travelers abstain from digging to deeply into the true causes of the decimation and its prevailing political environment.

Just don't protest whatever you do....

9) Iran

Language: Persian

Form of Government: Unitary Islamic Republic

Form of Judiciary: Sharia Law

Life Expectancy: 73

Despite numerous instances of the hostage-taking of Americans, by the State of Iran, the US State Department's take on travel to Iran could be characterized as "tepid" at best, in this case. The hostage crisis of the early 80's along with subsequent instances of US citizen detention means that your visit to Iran could end much later than originally anticipated and could also include a state mandated ransom fee which could easily drain all resources back home.

Add to that your possible execution, if you're a practicing Christian and are found with a Holy Bible.

If you do intend to travel to this destination, your tour ensemble should probably also include a detail of Seal Team 6 members along with a range of easily concealed weaponry of the James Bond variety. Culturally, you might consider watching for the much anticipated appearance of the legendary 12th Imam while there, however don't tarry too long if he does appear.

You'll definitely want to get home and watch the end of the world on your flatscreen HD-TV rather than some antique Iranian throw-off.

10) Algeria

Language: Arabic

Form of Government: Authoritarian Semi-Presidential Republic

Form of Judiciary: French Civil Law and Sharia

Life Expectancy: 74

Another Northern Africa country, Algeria could be considered the creme de' la creme of car-bomb destinations, not to mention the kidnappings and assassinations frequently aimed at foreign tourists. In other words, if you like old creaky old roller coasters in extreme disrepair or high-stakes games of solitary Russian roulette, as a US citizen, your chances of meeting an untimely demise could be in jackpot territory.

The US State Department indicates that even embassy personnel are highly restricted on where they can go and urges US travelers to follow "prudent security practices avoiding predictable travel patterns." Indeed, if you're a creature who loves a routine here, it could wind up killing you.

So that winds up our Top Ten most dangerous travel destinations. In looking back at the numbers a few rather curious similarities come into play. First, Sharia law is present in almost every one of these countries to one degree or another. Second, authoritarian Socialism appears to be present in almost every one of these countries as well, and third, poverty appears to also be operative as a by-product of these politically germinated dangers.

A few of the other facets of similarity should be quite obvious, however, as a Westerner, the dangers of traveling into largely anti-western, Islamic nations should be quite obvious.

One thing that the media, the Republican Party and even the Democrats have made painfully clear, after the 2012 general election, is that Obama's slender margin of victory can be laid squarely at the feet of the Conservative movement.

Yes, indeed, it's our fault, and as Conservatives, we are fully to blame, say the Democrats with a smirk, while the moderate Republican intelligentsia furrow their brows, collectively purse their lips, and then bob their heads in erudite unison, "Oh, yes, that must be it,"..."sniff."

The Conservatives, they say, have pulled the party so far over to the Right that no one truly wants to play with us anymore.  Hmm...perhaps that's the reason we keep reading about a large number of states whose citizens are signing petitions to secede from the union, or maybe it was the 26 states who filed a lawsuit against the US Government over the mandate. Oh!  Should we add in those Catholic Church lawsuits, as well?

There is one major problem with this particular line of thinking, however....

With the astounding number of scandals proliferating under Obama's command, even now, there are quite obviously issues with this President that the Republican leaders failed rather expertly at seizing upon, much as in 2008.

In fact, what should have been a languorous "stroll in the park" election victory for the GOP, with Obamanomic detritus lying forlornly all about, ultimately turned into a bruising battle with the Left-Wing victor  plunging a hidden shiv at the final moments of the conflict. The Mainstream Media, as that rather dullish shiv, did a masterful job of aiding and abetting Obama's victory, blithely obscuring the breadcrumb trail of extreme malfeasance continually in evidence.

But as story after story did its job in building the President up while simultaneously tearing the GOP candidate down, the excuses began to run towards the ridiculous end of the scale at the final moments. " It was the storm"...."yeah, that's the ticket"....chorused the inner beltway types in perfectly pitched unison.

"Right."

It could be said, after the last four years, that the heavily moderated Republican Party has apparently learned at least one very important lesson from President Obama , that being how to expertly blame someone else for an error that lies solely at their own feet. Indeed, that not being quite enough, the Republicans then have become fully resolved into faithfully believing their own enigmatic artifice, despite all evidence to the contrary, especially with regard to extreme reality.

You see, back in 2010, things were headed in a remarkably different direction for the Conservatives....

The Republicans had lost everything during the prior four years and could only peevishly simper at the Liberal Oligarchy being commanded by El Magnifico (that's Obama for the newbies).

Quirog of Greazidom (Harry Reid) had been running roughshod over the Republicans, squishing them like tiny little ants every time they skittered out from their nest for even the tiniest of legislative morsels, only to be denied. All the while, Wicked Witch of the West (Nancy Pelosi) screeched and cackled epithets, making little if any sense, yet mesmerizing all the same, the easily misled Left and not a few in the media, her cauldron of chaos smoldering red hot, fueled by the fires that liberty burns in.

But wait! At the darkest moments in 2010, there suddenly appeared a speck on the horizon. Was it a bird?  No.  A plane!  No, it was "The Tea Party!"

Charging to the rescue of the formerly clueless Republican elites, the everyday Americans making up the Tea Party took a timeout from their normal job of keeping America moving, and somehow, completely dominated the 2010 election. When the sound and fury died down, and the dust finally settled, the Republicans had dominatingly won back the US House and gained seats in the US Senate, all on the broad but increasingly scarred shoulders of the Tea Party.

When looked back on objectively, things had actually looked pretty bleak for the Democrats at that time in late 2010, as Moderate Democrat after Moderate Democrat fled the Liberal party or resigned under complete duress. Others sought shelter in the Republican party, even.

The Shellacking

Meanwhile,  Obama had been forced to give in to the new paradigm after the "election shellacking," and America's economy finally stopped plunging into the abyss. A certain balance in governance had been regained solely by the Conservative movement, while the moderates in the GOP could only ruefully shake their heads. The simple thank you that the Conservatives were expecting had turned into a similar sounding four-letter word ending in "K" and meaning something entirely different altogether.

Now fully back in the game, the establishment Republicans turned their cultured gaze at the Tea Party, sniffed once, sneered menacingly, and then set to work ostensibly belittling everything the Conservatives stood for. Districts were redrawn to marginalize certain Conservative candidates, Hunting Parties of elitist Republican mainstays began appearing on news shows, artfully downplaying the Tea Party's impetus as a fad. Candidates were even castigated for an overtly Conservative stance. Many more Conservative candidates were laughed at and vilified by members of their own party.

In many ways, the renewed Republican party embraced their winning champions, and then promptly strung them up and crucified them on the cross of public opinion with the media joining in with a scourge at the ready. Talk began circulating of old guard Republicans co-opting the Conservative movement in order to bring them into the establishment fold. The traditional Republicans had taken one very valuable golden egg in the 2010 election, and then greedily slaughtered the golden goose of votes offered up by Conservatives that had nourished it.  Ostensibly, if not idiotically, the establishment must have surmised that an endless supply of golden opportunities lay waiting inside the now lifeless carcass that remained.

The Tea Party, by virtually every other political and media  faction involved,  had been relegated to a group of racist, Right-Wing, extremists or religious nut-jobs,  and the Moderates obdurately went along, sometimes even cheerfully often leading the way. A tactical but short-lived victory had been won by the GOP, while the strategic battle had already been lost, and miserably, as it turns out.

Nobody Knows the Trouble We Saw

Undaunted, echoes of "We have it under control now," seemed to be the Republicans' euphemistically stated mantra. Indeed? Thought the Tea Party in wizened bemusement. Well, we need to get some work done anyway, and off the Tea Party, at least in part, went; the Republicans now firmly grasped the situation at hand with an ever familiar, historically slippery if not greasy grip.

The die was cast and the establishment Republicans now set to work repeating virtually everything they did wrong in 2008. But this time it was 2012, and the newly offered-up candidate, despite wielding a wealth beyond the dreams of avarice, as in 2008, was "somehow" different this time.

In hindsight, maybe the Democrats are onto something as it regards the establishment Republicans and their pre-occupation with vast wealth....Hmm?

But now, the first order of business for our newly entriched establishment? Fire RNC leader Michael Steele, a Black Conservative who embraced the Tea Party and led the Republicans to a 2010 victory. Oh, he was very clean and very articulate, too, by the way.

That was their first mistake, and then the GOP set to piling up their mistakes, perhaps in an effort to stay competitive with Obama's numerous errors; Moderates like redistribution of everything, too, you know.

A Contest Measured by Ass-ettes

Just as in 2008, with the Presidential selection of Moderate John McCain as their hand-picked candidate, the Republicans chose yet another wealthy northeastern Republican elite, but this time, a  millionaire 250 times over rather than McCain's comparatively paltry $ 45 million in holdings. Now, granted, Romney was not a bad candidate, at least not in the short run. Some Conservative Tea Partiers even took to him like a fish to water. Others, this one included, were simply itching at the bit to get the semi-Marxist out of the White House at any cost. Romney played the Conservative rather convincingly throughout the primary, with only a few second language Conservative slips, although we all knew him as a Moderate who had hopefully turned the final corner as a full-blown Conservative in the Reagan vein.

So, what ultimately happened in 2012, and where did almost everything go wrong for the Republicans, aside from their trashing of the  Conservative Tea Party?

Good question, one that everyone and no one seems to have the answer to, but there were several turning points that few, if any, have identified that could be construed as iconic.

First, the very thing that gave the Republicans their victory in 2010, as it regards the voters, might have been the very thing that led to their ultimate failure in 2012.

In 2010 things were desperate for the American people as a whole; fear had taken hold of the people as to what this monster statist government in DC was willing to do. Nothing, ladies and gentlemen, motivates like fear. So, as stated, the Tea Party actively took control and essentially buried the Democrats in their own flatulence, but that was in 2010.

Of Nincompoops and Gridlock

After the Republican victory, gridlock was the rule, and despite everything you have heard from the nincompoops in the media and elsewhere, gridlock is good. Without equal give and take, few things that are truly good, and hardly anything that is bad, can be passed into law.

And so once the Republicans had won the House, a certain balance was restored, and the economy even improved , at least in some areas, as a result.  However, the very desperation that was operative in 2010, had now fallen away in 2012. Many excesses of both Obama and the Democrats had been somehow forgotten. Meanwhile, the Tea Party had been relegated into a lesser degree of activism,  for many of the reasons previously stated.

The selection of Romney failed to excite the Conservative base of the party as masterfully as the fear of a greater tyranny had in 2010; you can see this in the three million Republican vote shortfall, which would have guaranteed a GOP victory.  Add to that the Libertarian obstinancy of a number of other voters, who will not be named, but you do know who they are, and the final recipe of failure was ready for the general election oven of 2012. But, in order to understand what, exactly happened which seemed to change everything, we will need to travel back to early 2012 and into the heat of the GOP primary.

Lunatic Fringe: When Moderates Attack

The sea-shift began in late January of 2012 in the GOP primary....and it would anger virtually every Conservative who understood what was happening.

While watching this entire Dark Comedy hungrily unfold itself, like a slimy alien from a particularly dank hiding place, I could only shake my head ruefully and wonder mightily. The Moderates in the Republican media had begun unleashing an unparalleled internecine assault against Newt Gingrich after his South Carolina Primary win. In fact, the Gingrich double-digit win in South Carolina, a thing that none of the establishment Republicans had truly anticipated, transformed the simple and yet revealing GOP Primary tic-tac-toe match of the previous six months, into a game of multi-dimensional, winner-take-all chess, such are the stakes in this Center-Right versus fully Right-Wing contest of the ages.

It was only a few days before the SC primary, when the inestimable Charles Krauthammer joked that, after New Hampshire, there was no way that Gingrich could win, while mightily proselytizing on Bill O'Reilly's show. Krauthammer went on to actually state that Gingrich was not at all going for a win in the SC primary, but instead  Newt was only after "vengeance" after Romney's no-holds-barred assault on Newt in Iowa.

Nuking Conservatism

Only two comparably small primary contests so far,  and Krauthammer was  projecting a Romney win already? Not only that, Krauthammer was setting up a scenario that implied a complete lack of political character in Gingrich's seeking vengeance and destruction of Romney, even while totally disallowing Gingrich as a viable candidate. Nevermind the fact that Santorum had actually won the first contest in Iowa.  Krauthammer went on to note that Gingrich was nothing more than "Captain Ahab on the loose."

Ouch.

On Thursday, January 26th, the document dump began in earnest, to clear the way for Romney in Florida, by completely eviscerating Gingrich and hanging him out to be bled.

Ironically, it was only a week or so after in Florida, that a Romney spokesman admitted  that the goals of the Mitt Romney Campaign were to completely alter Romney's plan of attack, away from the Marxist Obama, and towards an all-out attack of Conservative Gingrich. Not only that, and I quote a Romney spokesman, "Our goal is to completely destroy Newt Gingrich." Um...so, like, was it time for the maniacal villain spooky laugh yet?

A Demonic Ricochet

To that end, what had begun as nothing much more than an inner-family squabble, at the outset, between a coalition of the Tea Party, Conservatives and Libertarians, fought against the anemic Establishment Republican Moderates, quickly devolved into a Battle Royale waged on the illicit terms of internecine warfare, as predicated by these Establishment Elites. Or put in another more extreme way, wanton ideological genocide of the Republican base by the Establishment appears to be the rule of day, as perpetrated by those high-profile professionals who languidly reside, rather loosely, within the Right-Wing of American politics.

The usual suspects, those being the primary Politicos and political columnists within the Mainstream Media and beyond, in retrospect, had  reacted rather predictably on one level, but also quite hysterically on another. For Instance, in the screech heard 'round the world, the lovely and increasingly Moderate Ann Coulter let loose a venomous hail of indiscriminate fire against the entire state of South Carolinian Conservatives, for Heaven's sake, after they chose Gingrich as their man, en mass.

Coulter, in effect, accused these most Conservative of Americans of being Democrats, while implying an almost demonic influence at work.

But it didn't stop there, oh no. It was, in fact,just beginning as the Romney machine robotically clanked into motion, and the spinning blades of bureaucratic bedlam surged into slicing. One of the first was none other than Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz, a Tea Party favorite, who, having been obviously co-opted by those in power, at least on Gingrich, stated this: "I am fascinated that he is running as the non-establishment candidate, when he is the epitome of the establishment." Now, one supposes that someone within the vaunted halls of power should remind Rep. Chaffetz that Gingrich had been out of the US Government for over two decades, while, Chaffetz was, in fact, part of the Government. So, who was of the Establishment?

 

Attack Of The Killer Moderates

Next up was former Sen. Bob Dole, another Moderate who had served as Senate Majority Leader for several years and had little good to say about Gingrich; in fact, pretty much everything was bad, which coming from a Moderate, was actually a good thing in some circles. Dole, let loose a withering cannonade of repetitive fire against Gingrich, which amounted to this whiny approximation: "I lost the Presidential race against Bill Clinton because of the antics of Newt Gingrich," [paraphrased]. 

Ah, yes, Dole was not at all to blame, to be sure.

Another Moderate, and also another former Presidential campaigner, John McCain, who had recently endorsed Romney, stated of Gingrich, "A desperate candidate is a candidate who attacks someone who succeeds in the Free Enterprise system." By the way, McCain also also attacked millions of successful Businessmen and Business women, along with even more millions of successful citizens who made up the Tea Party, as nothing more than a bunch of "Hobbits."

Not to be denied, Tom Delay, the feared and former Conservative House Republican Majority Whip, who had been sentenced to three years in prison in January of 2011, stated, "Gingrich was ineffective as a leader," among many other things.

But it actually got even worse from there, as even The Drudge Report began piling into the pro-Romney bandwagon. So much so, in fact, that former Senator, and staunch Conservative Presidential candidate, Fred Thompson, actually stated, "Mitt Romney has The Drudge Report in his back-pocket." This due to the fact that Drudge had apparently been pushing pro-Romney, anti-Gingrich propaganda from his site for months according to the Politico.

The storm of stories and articles seeking to nuke Newt just kept coming from any and everywhere, including the Liberal media in Chicago, the NY Times, USA Today, virtually every Liberal and Moderate Republican media outlet known to modern civilization. Even the supposedly Conservative National Review got in on the act of pummeling Gingrich in favor of Romney.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat

The Establishment Republicans, who constantly cry crocodile tears over big government meddling, performed their own brand of extreme meddling, perhaps completely altering the flow of the contest and souring the natural selection of what could have been a truly Conservative candidate who might have easily won.

Obama was almost 8 million votes down in 2012 frm 2008, ladies and gentlemen in the final talley, but even that still again was simply not enough.

The GOP lost the contest.

So, the final chapter in all of this ultimately became a group of mushy Moderates snarkily accusing the Conservatives of losing the election while they yet stand dejectedly, a smoking gun of extreme failure clearly evidenced in their loose, if not effeminate collective grasp.

What we witnessed by th establishment elites, in essence, was  a wash, rinse, repeat of all the wrong moves, compounded magificently by the mushy center of the party, they who simply cannot win, even when given an extraordinary headstart.

But the funniest thing of all?

Most of us, like the good little Right-Wingers that we mostly are, grudgingly went along with this charade by the elites, but largely out of desperation.

And now they, the Moderates, have the nerve, no, the unmitigated gall to actually blame the very people, that being the Conservatives, who had the GOP on the winning track in the first place, as being the proximate cause of their morose failure.

Can anyone say "Third Party?"

It may yet become a reality, especially now with nothing much more to lose.

We do have another two years, at least, to figure this particular question out; however, losing is for losers, and the Republican Establishment seems to have that maneuver down spectacularly.

According to the various web statistic organizations, on Sunday Morning, November the 18th, 2012, the hottest story in the nation is one regarding a blow to the head of a monkey during an apparent zoo break-in, which ultimately kllled the monkey.

Has anyone stopped to ask why this is such earth-shattering news?

For instance:

• With the Mideast on the brink of war, over thirty people having been killed
• The recent loss of jobs for over 18,500 people
• The layoffs and firings of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of other people after the election of an admitted anti-capitalist President
• A $17 trillion dollar debt, which promises to raze the US economic landscape if not dealt with precisely and decisively
• Four human beings dead in a US Mission where regime leaders sought to cover-up the incident in order to deflect attention away from an administration, which allowed it to easily occur without taking any action, even after repeated warnings four months earlier
• A culpable US Secretary of State who has gone largely MIA since the Libya incident occurred, directly under her watch
• A former top general whose named has been dragged through the mud and outed in a scandal due to his not accepting the Regime's version of events in speaking truthfully to his fellow citizens.
• An individual who culminated this former General's downfall is later to be found to have had several social event meetings with the very White House that the former General chose not to lie for
• Numerous top military leaders having been released for their military roles for various injuries in or to the Regime's talking points dialogue
• The nationalization and federal oversite of the Nation's healthcare system, which has already wreaked havoc on the very businesses that employ America
• An unemployment rate that has rocketed upwards suspiciously and immediately after a national general election
• A news media, which took over two months to report much of these issues indicated due to its ideological support of the regime in power, when that same media should be delving into each of these stories in order to ascertain the actual truth of what did or did not happen
• Not to mention a complete solicitude concerning the over one million dead human babies taken every year before birth, and the joyful support of that sad fact as a necessary and crucial thing
• Finally, a downturn in the European economy amounting to a new recession to the nation's number one export customer, which can only hurt America's jobs even worse...

All of the above and much, much more ,and yet America is most concerned about a poor, dead, monkey in a tiny little Idaho zoo.But even worse?

This redoubtable concern totally ignores the fact that one American dies from something every thirteen seconds of every day.

All of this even while the US prepares for the joyful consumption of another, perhaps tastier critter, in the form of millions of turkeys, for Thanksgiving dinners all across America. Indeed, not a bad thing at all, but when weighing the nature of the one thing to the other?

The conclusion from any cultural outsider would invariably encompass an overall sentiment of wondering "What in the hell?" Especially for those in Asia, who have a decidedly different cultural outlook with regard to monkeys, cattle or even rodents

Either way, you just can't make this stuff up......
